Lying on a resume is sort of like lying on an insurance application. You might get the job and the insurance company mght insure you. Later when they find out, you lose your job and the insurance company which took your paymenst, does not pay on your claim because you lied.
If you cannot get the job without lying on the resume, you need a different job.

An interview is a two-way street. You're caught in a lie, they probably will not hire you. It's best to clean up your act and produce an honest resume and just omit things you don't wish to reveal, companies don't need to know everything about you.

If this is a job you really want. I feel you should come clean with the interviewer and explain that your desire to get the job clouded your decision making and hand them a truthfull resume. Appologize , dont know might work!!

why would you lie on a resume? if you would lie about that how can they trust you with other things? businesses would rather someone that is honest then someone who "says" they have years of experience, qualifications etc.
Chances are if you did get away with lying, you will struggle in the job because you cannot do what you have siad you could.

I can tell you I wouldn't do it but I have left out information. I don't think the period that my wife was on welfare and I was working as a supervisor at Subway is their business. We had to live separately so that she could get a cheque. It was stupid but we faced a recession, my Mom let me pay $200 rent a month, I ate for free at work and at $10 an hour, I worked 50 to 60 hours a week and tried to save for a basement suite and car. We had a car but it was good for going to and from work and to and from her house.
Anyway, your employer doesn't need to know everything. My personal experience is that you can always get work from restaurants, dollar stores, in painting and landscaping, cleaning, dishwashing and doing canvassing, telemarketing, fundraising and at temp agencies. They don't ask too many questions, either.
Stay away from Greeks. They are impossible to work for and difficult to deal with, period. I have worked for the Japanese and Chinese and was treated well, made lots of money, etc. I would stay away from housekeeping. Jews are good to work for as well, they are not so demanding and are very friendly. I am not stereotyping, these people are easy to work with. Also, Italians are very generous and warm.

do no longer lie!!!!!!!!! they're going to verify employment in spite of if its remote places. only say you had a kin rely that took you remote places for 6 months for this reason you probably did no longer artwork for that factor. the corporate can not by utilising regulation ask you why you have been remote places nor would desire to you divulge. I too have a niche in my employment and that i only say i became between assignments this is the case yet I additionally had scientific themes at that factor besides yet i do no longer divulge this because of the fact it relatively is considered as unfavorable.
