I plan on getting to tattoos sometimes in the next 2 weeks, I want to look around shops and ask around to get the best deal, what questions should I ask?

is it ok to sleep with a bandage on my arm covering the tattoo. i got a tat and i was wondering if its ok that after i clean it and put the ointment, if i can put papertowel over it again when i sleep so idont get the ointment everwhere?

Im about to turn 18 in may and i want a tattoo but cant decide of what or where exactly...i kind of wanted it on my lower back but should i since people are calling it the "tramp stamp" and i also considered a butterfly or heart of some kind but i wanted something unique like my tag name 'green eyez' with a tat of actual eyes over it or something...what do u think is that a dumb idea?

I want to get a tat, and it's original, I can't find any designs or anything, online, or anywhere. It's going to be a simple cross with a bit of scripture around it, nothing too complicated, all black, and fairly small. My question is, do I need to get a stencil for it, cause I've heard that your absolutely not supposed to get a tat without one. I would think they might be able to make one, or just free hand it.

Do I need one?

and i heard that the lower back is the worst pain wise. is this true?

I'm planning on losing around 60 to 70 pounds when I'm through and I was wanting to know how I could treat my tattoos so they won't look stretched or anything whenever I lose all this weight. I have one on my upper arm and one on my wrist. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

if you saw us in the street would you look in disgust or fascination? we love our art work & often get ppl commenting on a particular tattoo on one of us that they like but occassionally an individual will look at us in total disgust & murmour some nasty comment under their breath.what would be your thoughts??

I know that certain materials aren't very good but I'm not sure which ones. I had one belly button ring that left a permanent dark stain on my skin and I had to use scar cream for months to get it to fade, I don't know what it was made out of but I certainly don't want to use it again!
