My parents told me the other day never to get any tattoos as i will "regret it later in life when i'm an old lady" ..... coming from people who don't have a speck of ink ingrained on their skin I thought it would be more wise to ask the older bunch of people who DO have tattoos.... do you regret getting them..............or do you know of any old people who regret getting tattoos

Where is a website that shows Tattoo's i am looking for a tat of a teddy bear ( not winni the pooh ) just a teddy bear. I searched on google couldnt find no good ones to print to bring it to the tat parlor. so can you please help me? I am going this week but I dont know where to get it on my body some is saying on my hip others say on my upper butt/hip?

I recently got a tattoo and I wanted some grey shading, but the artist did it in black. Can they use white ink over it and lighten the black to a more greyish color? Will it require more than one session? Around how many sessions?

I have a tribal bat on my lower back and was wondering if anybody had some unique designs that I could get it covered up with? I love cats and flowers. I want something that will simply cover the lines, nothing huge and extravagant. I am a guy thinking of getting my first tattoo - a small design that's quite personal to me. Not sure where to put it though - I want it somewhere fairly private and easy to conceal but not too common. I've been thinking of having it done at the top of my butt cheek, kinda just peeking out of my underwear. Do you think that's a cool place or too weird?

I'm planning to get a tattoo, and I notice that many tattoos in good establishments and online are very detailed. I spoke to my friend, who is a good tattoo artist, and he said although it is possible to create intricate designs, I should not trust anyone who said they would do it, because the nature of tattoos means that over time the lines will blur and the tattoo will look a mess. I plan to get an olive tree on my back, and have drawn a simple design, but would prefer more detail.

I got a tattoo on the side of my right foot two weeks ago, and although it looks fantastic, it hasn't begun to scab or peel at all. Should I be worried? I've been taking great care of it, no shoes or socks, kept it moisturized, ect, but everything I've read about tats mentions scabbing and peeling after about three or four days. Is this normal for foot tattoos?

is it good or bad to use a lotion with cocoa seed butter in it on a tattoo???

or will it fade the ink since isn't cocoa butter supposed to fade scars???
i really do NOT want it to fade my ink!

I got a tattoo a month ago and i think i reacted to the red ink in my tattoo

my skin is swollen hard itchy and scabby

is there something i should take for it? should i see my gp?

hpw can i pull the ink out of my homemade tattoo made with india ink?? i kno it was a stupid move but i was a 15 year old kid and kids make dumb decisions but its a scar right now with ink under it because it was scratched but its very small so even if i have to cut to get it out it wont matter because will have the scar there anyway even with laser treatment or anything..but what are my options by myself without doing laser treatment or anything with doctors?? i heard people using a blade to get it out but that seems pretty risky so what are my options??

I'm really interested in getting a tattoo on the sole of my foot. I know that they don't last long, but i like the idea of nothing being permanent...very zen.

my question is, how long do they last? i don't want to pay for one if they will only last for a month or so. also? how painful are they compared to tattoos in other places?

please only answer is you are a tattoo artist of have/know someone who has a tattoo in the bottom of their foot.

my favorite tattoo on other people is The Rev from Avenged Sevenfold has handcuff on his neck which is awesomeee and Frank Iero from My Chemical Romance has the word halloween tattooed on his fingers and that is awesomeeee too!

I want to get my tattoo removed via laser. It is red and black and I had many consultations telling me the colors of my tattoo are the easiest to remove. Anyway, Money is not an object and I was wondering if anyone had their tattoo removed in Chicago and if so, by what doctor? How where your results. Thanks. Also, if anyone knows anyone who got it removed and where did they go to etc., in Chicago or anywhere near Illinois would be appreciated. Thanks!

The only "ouch" thing I've ever done is pierce my ear cartilage four times, and I used to cut myself. I would like to get my first tattoo done on the inside of my lower lip, probably saying "vanity" or something. I don't know. I was wondering, that because I have braces, would it be okay to get a tattoo in there? Will my braces affect the healing or anything?

Since I've heard lip tattoos fade quickly, how many times will I have to get it redone before it gets 100% permanent? How often must I redo it?
