i dont know if its myth or reality but I've been told that black people's skin rejects couloured tattoos so each couple months you have to retouch your tattoo to add the colors in it is it true

I'v been thinking for a while about geting a tatto. My family would never have one. But i'm completely different to them I've allways been the black sheep. Im creative, love to try new things and want to be a fashion designer and love to stand out.
Should i let my famliy's opinions hold me back on having a tatto and when should i have it i'm 16????

I got a large tattoo on my leg done exactly 2 months ago and im wondering if it would be okay now to apply fake tan over it? Or is it too early?

My brother passed away a while ago and I miss him dearly so I am getting a tattoo to always have him with me. We both worked on his 65 fast back mustang together and he treasured that car like it was his baby and I was thinking of getting the mustang emblem on my wrist with his birthdate and date of death since the car meant so much to him. What color should I get?

I know it comes down to what I think of it and that does play a big role in getting this but I was curious what others thought and honestly is appreciated.

On the side of my ribs I was thinking of this have a little orange medicine bottle you get from the doctor but have the lid popped open and have music notes flying out of it going upward. Reason for that is because I love music and have been into it since a very young age and it has just shaped who I am. So what do you think of that ?

before you all get your panties in a bunch, i already HAVE this tattoo. i'm trying to get a good picture of it for a project i'm working on, but i'm not capable of taking a photo of my lower back - lol. not to mention when i got mine done i got it in gray & color instead of black (its much prettier that way). BUT, i still need to find this tattoo online. i have a crappy website that i found, but its hard to use the image. can anyone else find this somewhere? perferably as flash and not as a photo of the tattoo, but if its a good photo i'll use that.

My son was born Sept. 20, 2007 and I would like to get a tattoo this Saterday. I already know I want his First and Middle name and than his birthdate underneither, but I'd like for this to be written on a colorful background of something meaningful. I've been trying to look for his birth flower, but am not successful in finding one. Does anyone have any ideas or can help me find some somewhere?

i am current on track of studying to become a dentist....but also thinking about getting a tattoo while im in college of my mascot...i dont want it on my upperarm or upperbody for personal reasons..should i get it on my wrist or mid arm instead.nothing to big but also nothing too small...i know dentist need to roll up their sleeves when working on a patient...but would a tattoo look unproffesional while working on a patients mouth...(please dont prefer the quote "its your body, you can do what ever you want" or anything similar) ...can i get some opinions ..please

Okay I am buying my boyfriend a tattoo kit for christmas, he has been working with a friend doing tattoos and wants one of his own to start practicing at home... I am not sure, since i know nothing about this, what kind of transfer paper to buy him?? we have a copier but i dont know if it'll work or not, and i thought it might be easier to get him paper you could draw on to make the transfer.... so my question is, what is the difference between thermal paper and hectograph... and is there other paper i can buy... please help and let me know what is the best idea....

I have some ideas that I want to combine into a tattoo but I can't come up with anything on my own. I want someone to help me but I don't know anyone around where I live. I can't really pay anyone but their ideas would be greatly appreciated. If you help me and come up with a design I will give you full credit.

Anyway my story is I lost my real father almost three years ago and went into deep depression (broken heart) but a year ago I met a police officer who let me talk to him (he mended my broken heart) and now he and I are so close that I consider him to be my father and he considers me to be his daughter. I kind of consider him to be my guardian angel. If anyone can come up with a design that could represent this story it would be great. Thank you all ahead of time.
