hi...i have dermatographia...which means that my skin sweels up when someone/thing scratch it...im turning twenty soon and planning to get a small tattoo...just wondering if it is possible for me to get a tattoo...cos even a blunt object can make my skin swell..thank you

I want to get a tattoo on my middle finger, running down the side.
However, I have heard that hand tattoos are a bad idea as the hand is used so much it would wear out within a few years.
But i think it will be okay since its on the side of my finger.
Any ideeeas?

so like i said in my last question... im getting a tattoo for my bday... so within a few weeks and this summer im going to live somewhere where every single day im gonna have to bike 8 miles!!!! so obviously im going to lose some waight.. my question is if i have a tattoo on my over waight skin will it look funny if i lose waight?!

i am getting a tattoo of two hands making a heart, looks something like this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/brennanslove/handheart.jpg itll be all black and white so no color and probly somewhere around the size of a CD on my lower back. i know all shops charge diffrent but its my birthday present from my mom and dad so i need something close before i bother going into the shop, i just need something ruff for this tat

I want it to take up a lot of space, half the neck on one side up to below the jaw line or have it ride low and go all the way around. Nothing dumb like stupid knot tattoos or barb wire or something moronic like that.

I am a professional tattoo artist, the shop I worked for only ordered from one company, personally I thought they sucked. Does anyone know of tattoo supply company's that have good equipment. I want to go out on my own.

When I was three days old, I had open heart surgery, due to a blood circulation problem. I would really like to get a tattoo, but I don't know if it's safe. Has anyone ever had problems like mine and gotten a tattoo, please speak up. The type of operation I had was called transposition of the great vessels. They were both in the wrong place. I don't have any limitations, I can run, jog, swim, and I do, I love to work out. I'm even a smoker... Nothing bothers my heart @ all. Thanx

I'm a black UK female i really can't wait 2 get my tattoo BUT i have a PROBLEM. I've looked around 2 find the best artists. They are all happy to book an appointment but when i say i'm black can i see some photos of work u've done on black people i get NO REPLY!!!

Has any1 ever had a problem or heard of tattoo artist that don't like tattooing black people???

The tattoo artist that i've found that have picture of their tattoos done on a black person are not up to the standard i like. The really good artist i've found have stopped contact when i ask the question of black skin.

I've heard of artists messing up tattoo's on black people just for a laugh. Keeping the needle in longer and making it go deeper and saying it's because they have 2 do that with black people which is a LIE!! How do i know who 2 trust this is going 2 b my first ink? What should i watch out 4? I don't want a bad tattoo from someone who dislikes black people HELP me. I've waited years 2get a tattoo because of this.

I am tryin' to get a specific tattoo done, but can't find anything that's close to it anywhere. I haven't been able to find anyone able to come up with a decent enough stencil to even try letting a artist work with it for a final drafting. Anything even similar actually pretty much stinks.
