Pick whatever flower you want. Just remember that the darkest colors will stay. Yellow, pink and white are the ones that will fade most. And always put lotion on your tattoo everyday. I have had my tattoo on my wrist for 15 years and the colors still look new. It's orchids, cherry blossoms and a magnolia. People think I just got it. They can't believe it's that old. It's because I put the lotion on it.

Let your tattoo artist handle this. Give them picks of desert flowers you like then let them do their thing. If they are talented and truly artists they can do the best drawing
And if you want it too look good.... look at other people's tattoos. when you have the best looking tattoo, ask that person where they got it done.
Or go to Miami Ink in Florida!

Talk to the artist they will know for sure. Mine is black because I like the old school look and it is holding up better than friends who have gotten color. The color just fades over time. Also make sure you out it somewhere where it wont stretch with weight gain just in case. And sunscreen when you go outside helps it to always look new.

Allow your tattoo artist to handle this. Just tell him everything you what like and what you were thinking about so that he can sketch out something in that detail.
