I've had my white tattoo since December. Now summer is coming and my tattooist told me that white tattoo ink fades extremely easy in the sun. What can I do or put on it to stop it from fading?

White isn't the only color in the tattoo but it does make up for about 90% of it. My tattoo is a white tiger holding a dragonfly. It has the black outline, its eyes are blue, nose pink, dragonfly is purple.

You can put some A & D ointment on it or even some butter. It keeps that part of the skin moist and prevents in from cracking. You said that you don't want your white tattoo to fade so these are the best things to put on it. These products are more like a 3- in- 1. They prevent the skin from fading, cracking, and aids in mosturization.

I personally use a sunblock that comes in a stick. Its easy to put on. Once, I was in a bind and didnt have any sunblock, but I had chapstick with an spf in it. It worked and didnt come off when I went into the water!

Get a very high SPF sun block spray or lotion and put some on it before going outside. Or better yet apply it everywhere and you will benefit even more and your skin will thank you later in life.

keep it completely covered and don't allow any sunlight to touch it ever. white wasn't made to be a stand alone tattoo color but to protect all tattoos you should keep them completely hidden from the sun at all times.

Sunscreen. Unfortunately, your white tattoo is going to fade no matter what.
