i got a tatoo this afternoon and it feels like I got a scrape or cut my self after i got it. i got it just below my shoulder where the muscle is top on my right arm is there a creme or somthing i could get to take away the pain and sting or the way it feels Ive been putting vaseline on it but just wonderin if there was something else i can do sorry this is my 1st time 2 get a tatoo and dont know that much about it thanx vanguardaz_2003

I'm thinking about getting a tatoo, but how much is it for a small one? and I never dealed with needles and shots. at the age of 14 i was scared to get a flu shot. i know pathetic. but also when i was younger my doctor purscribed me a cream that would numb the pain. so do you think i could use that to help with the pain?

I got a tattoo 4 days ago. I did the A&D ointment thing for the first 3 days, then this morning, right on schedule, it started scabbing and peeling. I had heard the peeling process lasts two weeks, but it seems like most of it has peeled off already. Will it continue to scab and peel for a while, or is it done once the initial peeling is done? And is it completely healed once that's done? I'm going on vacation in a week and a half...should I stay out of the pool?

I woke up in the middle of the night last night because it itched so bad (it's on my ankle/foot) what can I do to calm it down, I've tried slapping it, that only works for about 30 seconds! Would Benadryl help ya think? Thanks!

I want something a little tribal, and a little rough and rugged....not anything girly. I want to get a bunch of free images and sort of combine them and come up with my own design, and I'm not artistic so I can't think of anything in my mind. I am about ready to go in for a touch up on a tattoo I recently had done. The tattoo cost me $110 and I tipped $40. The artist did a fantastic job, but now I don't know how much to tip for the touch up...
I read in another question that is good to bring a gift for the shop, but I wouldn't know where to start with something like that...
