What is it with people and asking how much a tat will cost? It depends on the shop, artist, size, detail, and colors.

it depends on a few factors. how large are you planning on getting it? how talented is the artist that is doing it? usually custom tattoo artists and those who are highly talented charge by the hour. there is really no way to know how much time it would take without knowing how bit it would be. but some artists charge by the piece, also the price depends on size. so there is really no way to know. it could be $100 (very small) to $1000 (a whole back piece) the only way to know for sure is to consult the artist who will be doing it.

It all depend on where you go.
Before getting go around and ask people time and $$$.Don't get one too cheap because sometimes they do s**** jobs. For my second I went to a place and got a heart wrapped in thorns on my lower arm and it was really cheap and it came out really bad. Also try to find someone who knows someone in the buissness.Im blessed to have a cusin in the buissness.Hey hope it comes out good.

if it's gonna be about the size of your hand, then i don't expect it to take longer than an hour. which will run you about 100 to 150 bucks. that's just a rough guestimate. but, like everyone has already said, it depends on your artist.

it depends on the shop and how big it is. is it going to be across your entire upper back? and how wide is it going to be. i would probably say around 300ish on up if it is going to be that big, and detailed. but your better off asking the person doing the tattoo

Every place is different.
Do you know which tattoo parlor you will be going to? If so, print out that pic - take it in and ask 'em. :)
