how much tattoo?

Question

i want a tattoo on my stomach not big about 2 and a half inchs or so how much could that cost
also if i get pregnant how bad will it cange it after i lose the weight (note) i'm not very big..

where is a good place in mississippi if not one there do you know of one somewhere close also rate the pain 0-15

small or not, when u get pregnant the tat will stretch and never really look the same. most tat shops have a $60 minimum, yours should run u 65-90 depending on the artist ( if u want it done right). dont know any in Mississippi. and it depends on the guy, i have 5 tats and never had a complaint. pain wise it depends on your tolerance, a small tat on the stomach ( which has more fat than other areas)....a 7

in NY area places i went to the smallest price starts from $50---, pain on the shoulder, back, arm I'd rate 1, but if its on the back where skeletal part is than it hurts alot i heard, also ankle, or arm above the hand, basically i think it would hurt alot on the bonny part and where is thin skin. If u get somewhere on ur stomach (skin stretch there so therefore tattoo would get dis formed) or above ur breast too might get dis formed w/age, or on the tights because those area stretch when loosing weight or gaining weight.

I was told by various tattoo artists at the NYC Tattoo convention that they no longer charge by the tattoo, but by the hour. So a little heart would still be like $80 if not more, even a large arm-band and anything hideously large (the entire back) would be negotiated.

depends on the artist. look to spend at least 50-75 for a simple design. many artists have hourly rates that could bring the price up to 100 dollars an hour. a good artist will be well worth the extra money you will spend. check www.bme.com , they may have links to artists in your area. look at THEIR portfolio before putting needle to skin to best judge the quality of their work.

i would say get it somewhere else, or wait until after you are sure you are done having kids. my cousin has a tattoo closer to her hip of a planet. she had 2 kids and it looks HORRIBLE, and it was on her hip. shes super small as well. its not even round anymore its more oval shape now. imagine what that would be like on your stomach, where it actually stretches. i would wait on that 1

Yes it will change on your belly if you are pregnant. but if it does get too bad the artist can always turn it into something else
