it will be a rose with some type of tribal or celtic design to finish off the ends. rose is my middle name so it has meaning. is this a cute/good idea?

I have 2 tats already and I have been wanting to get another with my kids names but I also want a dolphin tattoo. I am trying to think of 1 tattoo that could be both my kids name along with a dolphin. And I don't know where to put it. My other 2 are on my left shoulder blade. And the other is on my left breast right above my bra.

Any ideas?

I have a tattoo on my lower back. It's a cross about 4 or 5 inches tall. I would like to get something added on to it, but nothing religious like, Because I'm not much of a religious person.(growing up i was raised catholic, now times have changed. I want to get something added like a cobra wrapped around it, something like that. I would like to know if it would look bad, and do you think it will make me look bad as a person. seeing as though snakes are not a good symbolism in religion. I know if it's something I want then i should get it..But I'm just saying i don't want to get shot for looking like an Antichrist .(not saying i would get shot,But you know...)?? I sort of want to get it covered up,but i feel its my past so i shouldn't.But does it make me look contradictory?(probably does)Anyways...any help would be nice..please no RUDE comments..I'm asking for opinions, I'm not asking to be preached to.

I'm a girl, and I want a tattoo... I want it somewhere where I can show it off to people, (so no tramp stamp... lower back, or shoulder or anything) but somewhere I can hide it if I need to (aroud my grandparents, at church etc.) Im thinking about my left arm, but I dunno if that's just a guy thing.

btw, I want the Batman symbol, and than later Im going to add something going around my arm (if I get it on my arm) like a vine or something...

I wanted a white ink tattoo. but they have the potential to yellow or brown and most artists do not use white ink anyways... so someone on here suggested a pale violet which sound beautiful to me! But i was wonderign if it would be that noticeable. I have very pale skin.. i dont want it to be THAT noticeable. what other colors would you suggest? i dont want it bold liek black.. just something slightly noticeable.. does pale violet fade over time?

i got a nanical star tattooed on my lower back friday after noon it is now tuesday and right after i got it done it dint hurt just alittle red.. saturday - today it has hurt n is all scabby.. ive been putting non sented lotion on it.. an di doing somthing wrong or is it normal for alower back tattoo should i be doing anything else and is my tattoo going to look bad now becuase it is scabing..if some one could help i would really be greatful its my 1st tat and i just want it to look good thanks

BEFORE YOU HATE!! i know it is a good idea to get an apprenticeship,i know all about bloodborne pathogens,and sterilization, (i have and have used a autoclave) i have just used homemade equipment,but recently i have purchased a kit from Superior TAttoo Company. And the Major Problem that i am getting is that when i connect the footswitch to the power supply,the clipcord to the power supply and the machine all i get when i push the pedal is one click thats it i know that you have to hold the pedal down for repetition needls strokes, so please help me with this....i would really like to get an apprentice but i can not afford the amount of money that they want. I have done around 25 "homemade tattoos" and thats not workin for me.so i would really appreciate it if i didnt get any smart *** answers all i want to know is how do i get repeated needle strokes without having to push the foot switch everytime i want the needle to go into skin dont worry i have much practice with fakeskinandfruit

I am looking for a really good tattoo design for my upper arm. I want it to look like a part of my arm was ripped off to reveal a realistic looking robotic arm underneath it. I have found several designs close to what I want but most of them have been pretty cartoonish looking and I want it to be more realistic. If anyone has any free websites I can view to look up ideas that would be very helpful. I would prefer not to pay for tattoo ideas. I have already viewed yahoo and google.

I have a year old tattoo that in some areas, is senstive to touch and feels tender, even area around the tattoo that is not tattooed. theres no redness, or swelling, but it is bothersome to me why a completely healed tattoo would feel like its a fresh tattoo?? its been like this for like 5 days..

Like I said it is 8 inches of solid black ink but it is uneven and I can't stand it anymore. I'll take any suggestions. The only thing I could think of was some tribal work but even then I'm drawing a blank. Thanks!

I'm not sure how popular this piercing is so I dont know how many people will know what i'm talking about, but I'm considering getting a conch piercing and if anyone has had theirs done, I'd like to hear about it. (pain, healing process, etc). I know pain and healing is different for everyone, thats why i want to hear different opinions on it. Thanks. :)

Okay, so I'm thinking of getting a tattoo. Whatever tattoo I get, I want it to have meaning. I'm not going through that kind of pain for a little butterfly tattoo. I was thinking about getting one on the inside of my bottom lip that says hallelujah (Psalm 34:2 "I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.") but I heard that hurts like crazy! Any other creative ideas? I'd love to hear them.

Hi. I have a new tattoo of a word on the inside of my wrist that's almost a week old. It has scabbed and is very raised. The raised part looks as though all of the ink is in the scab. What worries me is that in one place the scab looks split open and a lot lighter that the rest of the tattoo (it was originally all one color). Is this normal healing or did I lose some of the ink? I have been using A&D a couple times a day and making sure the are is not overly dry or moist. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Since this is on my wrist and therefore very visible I'm freaking out a little and I don't know when I will be able to afford to get it touched up. Thanks in advance!

Its a pink peace sign about the size of a quarter and you can only see the top of it with a bathing suit. Is that good or bad? I was thinking of getting some small wings attached to it, just small ones so you can see it with a bathing suit better.

As of right now I have 11 tattoo's. But there has been one tattoo that I've been meaning to get for the past few years. It's going to be dedicated to my Grandmother, who is a painter.

The idea is to have a paintbrush (on my upper arm) with paint dripping off of it. The paint drops will gradually form into birds. This will all be done black and white. I really want to paintbrush to look realistic, and unfortunatley I can't draw. So I need a really good picture of a paintbrush.

Can anyone help me find one? Perhaps a site that has good pictures I can print out?
