I have to get my next dosage for my shot over spring break. Which is the same time I am getting a tattoo on my back. Is it safe or am I setting myself up for infection??? PLEASE HELP? Also should I have all three shots before I get ink done?

I just dont understand why people that look down on tattoo's have to come into the "Tattoo" catagory and judge. Can some one answer this for me? Just because we have tattoo's does NOT mean we have been in jail, dirty, tramp, loser, etc etc. How many times do we have to answer the same questions "why do you have tattoos" "how many and why". I have tattoos because they are an outward show of my inner personality, they do not define who I am they only clarify what is already there.. Body ink is sexy, it makes a person stand out in a crowd (unless your at a tattoo convention, LOL). So once again: why are non-inked people so judgemental? You dont like my ink, dont look at it, and by all means DONT comment on it.

I have had my first tattoo over the weekend and am a little worried as i was told to use vaseline intensive care by my tattoist and my skin is flaking with the ink in it and it appears that the ink has faded and cracked have i over moisturised it and messed it up or is this normal or am I being paranoid??? I realise it scabs but the black and red ink look like they are cracking. Please advise.

You don't have to get into details if you don't want to. How many of the more heavily tattooed out there have been in prison? I guess I may be considered heavily tattooed, and I have only gotten two tickets in my entire life. Once was on a jet ski. Are we a bunch of felons???

I dont like any fonts to spell it outright. Her name is Jordan. I also dont want chinese or japanese letters, thats too overdone, but maybe greek or something more original. I also wonder if there is a symbol for her name? or a symbol for the word daughter? Ive spent the last hour and a half surfing looking for something but cant find anything. I am trying to design a full back piece, unfortunately I lack the chops to design anything that looks even coherent, much less good. I want to include two elements, possibly three. The two I definitely want in the design are a lioness and a spiral. The 'optional' one is a compass rose (if you can make it fit).

I favor the look of the Japanese woodblock style but am open minded to any kind of design. Any ideas guys?
