i want to get a chinese symbol for fate. I have it all picked out. I just don't know where to put it. It's not very big but not to small either. i want to be able to show it if i want but not all the time. I want the place to be tastefull. please help.

That's an amazing choice for a tattoo by the way. I've thought of getting the Chinese symbol for love.
For this type of tattoo, I would really suggest the hip.
It's only exposed when you are wearing a bikini, and you can very easily show your friends.
You could also do it in the middle of your back, or on your ankle, but I really think it'd be best on your hip. (That's where I'm getting mine.) It's not very easily seen, and it seems to be very tasteful. I wouldn't recommend anywhere on your arms, or your upper back, that seems to be most popular with guys these days.

middle of back is in style now lower back is out shoulders are always good if i was a girl though i'd get a phat one on the inside or outside of my thigh like a strip down the center anything on the stomache is gross , feet are good for girls too as well as clafs ankels and mid arm is good as well maybe get a band of some sort and have that symbol as the center to the band really it's all about how you look what kind of tat and how you are is what really needs to be thought about

The back of your neck or your hip. Or not at all. If you're not Chinese, go for a symbol that represents your own culture instead.

For me the spot I have plans to pretty much cover is my back, it is somewhere that can be covered up or displayed and somewhere that I hope would not be affected much by having children.

you should put it on the side of your waist therefor you can put little shirts on so people can see and just put on a long shirt so people cant see thats my fave place to get one when i do but thats up to you good luck

I got japanese symbols that mean "beautiful strength"... I put them on my lower back, right hand side.... It looks good there if I must say so myself.. lol

i would say either on the back of your upper shoudler or right about your waist on your back or even on your lover stomach on one side
