If pierced in the correct spot, pain is rather minimal, but your eyes may water. Generally, everyone is different but a skilled piercer should be able to minimize pain. Its done and over with quickly, so the pain should be tolerable. Pain should never be a deciding factor if you want something and its a piercing, you're gonna feel at least a little something; its just how it is.
Keep in mind that once the piercing is done, your nose may feel a bit sore and this is normal, its also irritating. But the piercing heals quickly and is easy to hide. Probably one of my very favorite piercings. Be sure to keep you piercing clean and good luck.

No darling, i will inform you what hurts like hell; Getting a classic nostril piercing. A septum isn't something - yeah yeah, your eyes will water, you may sense the pinch, yet fairly if the piercer is unquestionably experienced, the needle won't pierce easily bone* that's faulty. So a Septum is nearly a classic piercing in which you will assume the first sting.

Any piercing will have varying degrees of pain.
However, pain is subjective - some can tolerate more than others.
So, do we call you "pincushion", now?
