Tattoos - February 2007

I've been getting pierced since I was 18 (24 now)..and just recently found out, I was suppose to be tipping my piercers all along (oops). How much is a good tip? Today I got my rook pierced. It cost 20 dollars, I tipped 5 dollars. Is that enough or should I have tipped more?

Am I allowed to or am I too young? I've hear that you either A) have to be 18 or older B)can be 16 (no younger)and have a parent with you and C) if you are under 18 have a parent with you. Is it diffrent for diffrent states and places?

i already have three tattos but this one is to be special covering my left leg up to my knee no tribal more of an artwork i already have a designer but am looking for a direction to take this and go with it. I already have three tribal designs so i want something to just cover my left leg let me know any ideas you have (except people who want to say dont get it think about what it will look like when your 80, or what my kids might think.......blah, blah blah.)

I'm considering getting a tattoo with my son's name. I would like to get something small and I'm not even sure where I want it. I also would like to get something that could be added onto in case I have more children. A concern is getting my son's name and it looks like a boyfriend-husband's name, I do not want it to look like that. Any suggestions?

i live in Anaheim, am 16, and am really interested i maybe becoming a tattoo artist. What do i need to know and does anyone know of a place i can go that would teach me or does anybody have a tattoo shop who is willing to apprentice me? i go to shool in Orange and live in Anaheim so somewhere close to there would be great.

about a week before i got my tattoo i went out fishing and got sunburnt, the day i went and got my tattoo i had just started peeling, now after i have my tattoo my skin still persists too peel,will this affect my tattoo because it is starting too peel over it ??

i recently got a new tattoo (20/2/07) and al the scabs are coming away already and the skin looks dull and grey compared to the black it should be, i was told by a friend it should do this, the skin benth it is all soft unlike my other skin does anyone have an reply to if this is right or would i need it re-colouring many thanks!
