My tattoo parlor sells a specific sunblock for tattoos that you would probably interested in. Go to your tattoo parlor and ask...I think its made by TattooGoo

Hmm probably sun block, or you could cover that area with those little towels that they provide in the tanning beds. Thats what i do when i dont want an area to get any darker.

Most tanning salons sell a spf block stick.. you can put it on you tattoos..... My husband and I do it when we go tanning to protect our tattoos...

Put a strong sun lotion (with a high spf), on the area. But keep in mind, your better off not tanning at all.

don't go to one. tanning is not only bad for your tattoo it is bad for your skin and your health in general. but if you don't care about that then you should cover your tattoo with something. sunscreen does not protect your ink, only your skin. the ink will break down over time because of uv exposure.

sun block (30+ spf) is a great plan. I've used stickers in the past too-I get address labels & cut them to fit my tattoo. Obviously mine aren't very big, but as long as I didn't get really sweaty, I thought it worked better.

sun tanning lotion. bullfrog has a sunstick ot that is 60 spf and works great
