is it sexy to put a big tattoo on your lower back or just a small simple somthing?? thinking about getting one... need you opinions what is more attractive???

well you wont be able to please everyone, so Get what you like, If thats what you feel you want to do. There is always going to be someone who doesnt like it, and others who will. I dont have or want any, but othere people having them doesnt bother me. I dont find it particuarly attractive, but that's just me. It has certainly gotten more popular recently, but I dont think that's a good reason to get one. Get one because you want one, not because there are now 42 tattoo parlours on your street. I must say that the artistic quality has gotten better, now that there is more compitition, and choices of artists. from what I have seen, anyway. I am not judging your decision, just stating my opinion.

Tattoos are personal.
You don't need to be an artist or have to ink up something meaningful yourself. Tattoos are a marking that follows you for years and years (assuming you don't laser it). A tattoo should not be the fairy you saw on page 7 of a tattoo magazine because you thought it was cute. It needs to speak to you. You need to be able to wake up in the morning, look at it and smile. An aesthetic tattoo will wrinkle and distort with time while a personal tattoo will age like wine.
I designed my tattoos to commemorate the stones life has thrown on my path until this day. Where I've been and where I am know. Sort of a reminder to breathe.

Well, beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder in this case. It's your body, so I say do what feels right and choose one that you'll be proud of for the rest of your life. Why not get a small tattoo in the center of your lower back, wait a year or two, and then add scrolls, a triband band, vines, or something of that sort to extend the design? Look at pictures online and find something unique or add your personal touch to a design. The last thing you want is to get a tattoo only to discover that hundreds of other ppl have. Best of luck.

don't get anything based on what other people thing is attractive or not. you will get a variation of answers including that it is sexy, or that it is trashy, or that it makes you a tramp to don't get a tattoo at all. never get a tattoo unless it is what you want and you are sure of it. i have a tattoo on my back and i love it but i would never make the decision based on what other people thought.

Its all up to you on what you want. There are some designs that just look better when they are on the small of your back if they are small and there are some that look better if they are big. I am getting ready to get mine there and it is going to be a big one. My mom has one right there of barbwire with a blue rose in the middle with her kids names and it stretches the whole way through her back. So just look at the design and see if it would look better big or small.....It also depends on what you want and what you want to spend on it.

I do not really like large tattoos on the lower back. Upper back looks better for large ones, lower back better with small ones.....
But, that's just my opnion!

Well, if you really want one, make sure you think about it long and hard. A tattoo is forever. Make sure it's something you like and means something to you, I'd get something smaller just because I think it would look better on me, but it really depends on what you want.

I personally like smaller ones for myself-- but that is me and what I think looks nice on me.
I have seen some gorgeous big ones, but those people also has the personality to pull them off.

Yeah it is soooooo cool to have a tattoo, but wait till your an senior, Ewwwww, gross, it will be all wrinkly, so my advice if your going to do it put it somewhere where it won't look gross in 70 years time

getting a tat is very personal it should be done for yourself and not a fashion statement. they will last forever, much longer than they will be instyle and when you get old they won't be sexy trust me. get it because it means something to you and it is something you like, you will be living with it for a long time.
