I've known this guy for like 17 years and tonight he volunteered a FREE tattoo.

I want my rapper name...and those Jesus footprints across my back. Maybe a giant crown in betweem by shoulder blades.

He is really the best. He knows what he's doing. Everybody I see, I ask them where they got their tattoo. They mention BILLY. This friend is the same BILLY.

I'm not 17...I'm 42. I've known this guy 17 years. He's tattooed 16 years. He just moved to a new shop so it's probably publicity. He's probably 30 or 35.

I would totally jump on that one!! I like all of your ideas for tattoos. I wish someone good would offer me a free tattoo! I'd get one I have covered up. OR I'd get the cross tattoo I've been wanting. You have quite an opportunity. Hope you have fun with it.

If I had something in mind & was planning on getting something, and didn't have an artist who's work I'm in love with, yes probably. If I was in the middle of some work like now, almost certainly not unless *maybe* it was a different area & theme entirely. Definitely not on an existing (finished) tat unless I wasn't planning on going back to the original artist. Anything else I would see as an insult to that artist.

If I didn't have anything planned... hmm. I don't know. I have a real backlog of work right now, and Teresa is booked until April. I still have 3 koi, flora, landscape & teeny bits of my dragon koi to finish. :(

I make enough so free really isn't an issue for me.

well it depends on if the artist does good cover up work or not I have a tattoo that I would like to get covered up and do a half sleeve.

my second choice would be getting a hibiscus flower on my foot

or I would like to get a fairy on my back - the shoulder blade area

so many choices......there are many tattoo ideas that I want to make happen in the near future.

No, I don't want any more tattoos. I would accept a beautiful cross necklace with gratitude though. I have a few of them.

I say go for it. The crown sounds awesome. And be sure you have a huge stack of his business cards with you, he's probably interested in the fact that you can advertise for him when you're out and about. Get the crown.

I wouldn't do it. I do not have anything against it, but it just doesn't interest me. What on earth could possibly be important enough to me to have it permanently etched on my body? To me, that is like buying an original Van Gogh painting and drawing a picture on it with a pen. But it is just my opinion on my own body. I think you should do whatever you want to do, so long as it isn't hurting anybody. Just be careful what you pick and where you have it put. THINK about it. Tattoos are permanent, unless you want to PAINFULLY have them removed. So make sure it is something located somewhere that is going to still look right in 10-20-30 years or more. Today's angel can easily turn into tomorrow's vulture, and you might not want to be known by your rapper name when you're 50. Good luck!

Hell yeah I would take it...I have two tattoos (small ones) getting ready to get my third one and if someone said that they would do my tat for free and they are as good as you say this guy is, then yeah....Take him up on the offer.....Tats can get pricy.
