yep..it should. just make sure you see the artists photos of someone who got color with your skin tone.

my tattoo has color, I'm black but light skinned. from my experience with mine ( i have shades of dark brown, light brown, red, pink, and white all in my tattoo) is that it will look bright then slightly fade. not much though. just protect is well with the appropriate cream after you get it. Ive had my tat for 3 years next month.

hope this helps. :)

The problem with white is that it does not last. On one tattoo I have, it had white highlights. I lost all the white in it within a year. Had it redone and again lost all the white within a year. In fairness this tattoo got a lot of sun exposure, but even so I'd never get white again.

Depends on what shade of brown you are. I see dark skinned black men with tats I can't even see well. They should have skipped the pain and got a t-shirt! The lighter skinned blacks tattoo much better. I know many light skinned females with their babies names or their mama's names.

I hear a white tattoo is a bad idea. I saw a cream color rose with a pink outline. maybe that would be better. Ask your tattoo artist.

everyone is saying yes, when the answer is no. Artists dont use white as a full on tattoo... only shading, becasue it fades to a natural skin colour after healing. I dont know many that will do a full white tatoo.. i don think it will show up well.. but goodluck with that.

it may but probably not. tattoos are put under the skin. so think of it this way. if you put window tint in your car does a lighter colour interior show through better? no it doesnt. the dark tone of your skin can very likely over power the tattoo. most tattoo artists can tell you what colours will work well with your skin tone.

i dont think u should get the whole thing white, and i dont think its gonna show up. i am fair skinned (light) and i have one of my tats with some white outlining inside the blk lining and i could not see it when it was healing but i see it now and its still not bright white. So if its not bright on me i dont think it will be the best color for u. Sorry :-( (and i have a good artist- he did the tat on the rapper "Game" neck)

it's a good idea in theory, but no, it actually won't show up.
when you get a tattoo, the ink is put under the top layer of your skin, which is the one that contains the pigment.
people with black or tanned skin have a lot of pigment in this layer of skin, so the ink doesn't show through. that's why when you see black people with tattoos, they're done in black ink, because it's darker than their skin tone.
white ink only shows up well on pale skin, and even then, there's a good chance that it will fade or turn yellow over time.

it should be fine, just talk to the artist before hand they should be able to tell you whether or not it will show up after time white tends to fade, ask to see work that the artist has done on darker skin tones .....good luck

white fades so easily and for that reason is mainly an accent color. try a light yellow. i suspect that will fade to cream on your skin. try to find an artist who has lots of experience with darker skin. good luck!!
