how badly did they hurt? not that pain will change my mind once i get my tat, i'd just like a general idea of what to expect.

I have ten tattoos and the one on the back of my neck hurt less then the rest of them. It really hurt but not as much.

I have a tattoo on the back of my neck which took about an hour to do. It didn't hurt as much as people it told me it would. The bigger the tattoo gets the more pain you will experience. Also it just depends on your pain threshold.

yea it is pretty painful, but isnt any tattoo? depending on what you get it should only take a few minutes anyway...i got my name with a rose and it only took about 30 minutes. the most you have (pain wise) to look forward to is a crink in your neck!

I found that to be the most painful spot, but it was actually not as bad as I thought. Really it just depends on your tolerance for pain. I found it no worse than a bee sting.

i thought it would hurt more on my spine but it didnt compared to the sides of my neck!i dont know i think they all hurt but that wont make me stop getting more!it didnt hurt bad enough cause im getting another one on my neck soon!

the closer you are to bone or major nerves the worse it will hurt. the side of your neck will hurt less then the back of the neck or your throat
