I've been searching around and I cannot find a state (US) that allows tattoos to someone under the age of 18 with parental consent. I live in washington and am willing to go a couple states away. I am also willing to go to Canada for my tattoo. What are the laws there?

Is there anywhere (state or country) near the Washinton area that will tattoo on a minor with parental consent???

I'm planning on getting a tattoo for my 18th birthday over the holidays. I have a design picked out and I'm all set. But I have an issue. My body rejected my last piercing and my ear piercing is easily infected. Will i have a similar problem...it may be worth noting that my skin is apparently taught/tight.

ok, im getting a tattoo on the inside of my wrist. i was wondering if anyone who has it in that spot can help me out. my veins are very visible and the skin seems to be very thin. i get very quezzy with the subject of veins and i dont wanna pass out in the tattoo parlor if the needle hits a vein. so heres my question, does the needle touch or punture the vein at all??? thanks

Im a big fan of Kat Von D that works at True Tattoo in LA and Miami Ink and she referenced Kore Flatmo as her favorite and he works out of Cincinnatti, OH at Plurabella Tattoo.

I have never got a tattoo and I want my first one to be with a respectable artist like these two.

This is for everyone with tattoos and/or piercings.

When you go in for a new job whether it is a fry-cook at McDonalds, a teaching posistion, or a high business whatnot, do you go as is or do you 'clean up'?

What I mean by this:

If you have numerous visible piercings or tattoos, do you take out the piercings and cover the tats or do you want them to see you as you are?

Once you get the posistion, would you reveal your piercings and/or tattoos?

I'm about to get a tattoo, and I'd like to know in advance what the best way to heal it is? (I know the artist will recommend something, but I figure I'd better ask here in advance).

I've read that A+D Ointment is the best for healing the tattoo, if this is not the case, please tell me. If so, should I use the ointment for the entirety of my tattoo's healing? Or should I switch to a lotion after a while (if so, when)?

Also, how many times a day should I wash the tattoo?

Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

i have a tat that was messed up the artist. it supposd to be taurus symbol but look like the jesus fish going to hell. i dont like that. its red. i was thinking to cover up with bigger black taurus with fire coming up from behind. it on my lower stomach right side. i have a black chinese symbol for tiger on other side. or should i put taurus symbol behind tiger and cover up with completely diff tat. if so what should i do. i dont want anything removed. i love my tats but he messed it up and i dont look good. please help. no smarta** remarks please. just honest good helpful answers please

i want to become a tatooo artist, and yes i can actually draw, im and art major was in special art scool for 7 years during actually school and i want to get into tatooing, so howd u guys get ur start and like do u suggest buying a gun or what should i do or where can i go to like get started? thanks allot
