I have my wrist done. The needle only goes so far to inject the ink and will not hit any veins. Don't worry about that.

Mine was also very quick and painless. Easiest of my two.

Usually not, it should just tear the top couple of layers of skin off and lay ink in. When the skin heals back, much like scraping your knee, the ink is under the skin. The wrist, being so close to veins is a dangerous place to do a tatt. Try moving it up the arm a little. By the way that is really sensitive skin and will hurt like a big dog, i hope you have a high tolerance for pain.
There may be some bleeding but it will be like a scraped knee, it wont be a gusher.

I have tattoos on my wrists, hands, feet , the palm of my hands and side of my face, (stars by my brow). Don't worry about veins, the needle is VERY tiny, and doesn't penetrate that deeply. Unless you have a real stupidass doing the job. I prefer to watch it being done because that way you "own" the situation. If you look away and try to 'think of something else'.....well, you can't really fool yourself, so it will hurt more. That's my opinion, and it works for me...good luck

I have a tattoo on my wrist and they do go as deep as any other place the thing is that everyone has many layers of skin and the needle only goes through maybe 3 or 4 layers so you do not have to worry about hitting a vien.

When they're tattooing a place that has alot of veins close to the surface like that. They don't tattoo as deep so they won't hit a vein.

i have a tattoo on top of my foot and i have veins all over. the skin on top of the foot is also very thin. i didn't watch my tattoo being done. that seemed to make it hurt more. but your veins should be fine but i do suggest not watching. it'll be over before you know it. i'm sure you'll be fine! good luck!!

You are not going to bleed to death. Calm down.
