i am getting a tattoo and i just wanted to know if any ones knows ppl who have thrown up of fainted while they have gotten it done. i fainted when i got my ears pierced *cries*

I am 18 turning 19 day after christmas. and i want to get a tattoo for my birthday. I want the tattoo as a rememberence of my identical twin who died by birth. I got my nipples pierced 15 months ago, and they healed up quite well. although for the past couple of months they have been getting a bit of (i cant think of a better word) "crusty" build up on the ring, on both sides of it. I dont think its pus, they arent sore or infected, what might it be?

I know what I really want, which is a libra sign on the right underside of my left wrist, and on the other I want the chinses character for the rabbit, My chinese zodiac sign.

Now how much would they cost, niether would be very big?

I just got a tattoo last night and my tattoo guy said to use fragrance free soap to wash it and then put fragrance free A&D ointment on it. I can't find fragrance free A&D ointment ANYWHERE. I tried grocery stores and Walmart but still no luck. Are there any other ointments I could use to put on it? What about vaseline? I heard mixed answers about putting vaseline on healing tattoos.

had a tat done of bottom of back a few years ago (you know the type- generic black tribal) anyway it has faded a little to dark grey and i think its time to make it more individual and improve it. was thinking of a feather/flower design twisting around it (any suggestions welcome) just want to know if this could succesfully cover parts of the existing design

I've never gotten a tattoo, and neither have my friends. I'm thinking of getting one with a cross with wavy lines coming off of it. I want it to be pink and black. I just don't take pain well sometimes. Can you please compare it with something else? Thanks for your answers!

I have 3 tattoos, and everytime I get one, the tattoo artist tells me to put something different on it, my uncle does tattoos in California, and I always saw him putting Vaseline on them. But places I have went to say not to. I am about to get another tattoo and want to know what I should put on it to keep the coor from fading out and keep it from itching.

I have seen people do this a few times. They think that "No shirt, No shoes, No service, does'nt apply to them because their crap tattoo is really important. Tattoos have historically been consider 'low class" and I think this kind of behaviour confirms it.

My husband and I are wanting to get our first tattoos done together. We would like them to coordinate, not necessarily match. We have not seen much on the internet about tattoos that go together. We have been married for 6 years and have 4 children, so it is not likely that the future holds divorce and so this is not a concern for us. We do not want something huge, and do not want hearts or flowers, but are interested in possibly someting celtic or tribal, but we certainly have open minds. My husband is active duty military (currently deployed :( )and I am currently a house wife. Any suggestions?

Im getting the painting of Saint Michael(the arc angel) slaying the demon(the one where he has the demon on the floor with his foot on its head and about to stab him with the "sword").
