I have a tattoo on my lower back. Its my name in cursive.Im trying to complete it, but i don't know what design to put around it.

All of the tattoo studios I've been to have walls full of different designs - either flash, or unique ones designed by the artists that work there. They also have portfolios full of 100's of pics of completed work and drawings for you to look at - so start from there, and pick an artist whose work you like, and have him or her design something for you.

I can't understand for the life of me why people put their own names on their bodies or a gf or a bf name or mom or dad. Tattoos are great but put more thought into it it will be their for life.

well i'm not sure of your gender , but i would put whatever fits your personality, maybe barbwire with roses in it , but thats like a daring mysterious thing but maybe just like swirls or something that you find represents yourself, or that u would like to represent your self image .
