more waves... another fish? or maybe a frog? a geisha? i don't know. i'm currently getting a full back piece which started out as a koi and waves. good luck!!

most people would stick to a japaneese theme when they have koi fish. you could always add another colored koi fish to the sea on your arm. multi colored 5 petal blossoms or a water lilly is fun.
