Well if your wanting it from Chris Garver or Kat Von D then they actually live & work in LA at True Tattoo on N. Cahuenga Blvd but fly back to Miami for filming. Which is where they are till mid January. You can email Chris through the website to be put on a waiting list for him but the wait may be a bit of a wait. If you go through Miami Ink's website you can apply to be on the show but you get no deals other wise call a month ahead to find out the schedule for them but they have other tattooist working that aren't on the show so you may get scheduled with one of them but they are still as good.

Be prepared to pay good money for it.

Miami Ink is over rated, they are good, but so are a lot of other artist. It's just like Orange County Choppers and West Coast Choppers, they are on TV so everybody thinks they are the best. But they are NOT! Their choppers look very similar to Iron Horse and Big Dog Choppers. Being on Television does not make you the best.

You need than an appointment. You have to get selected by the television show. Then you have to pay out big bucks for the tattoo. There are plenty of tattoo artist in Florida that are just as good as they are, maybe better.

I would assume so. There is a form to fill out on their site, but that might just be to get onto the actual TV show. With as popular as they are with the tv show, I doubt they can handle people just "walking in". My tattoo artist doesn't have a tv show, but they are busy enough that they don't do walk ins.

Well probably.

And don't assume that just because you're getting a tattoo from them that you're going to be on TV, because that's not how it works. They pick what tattoos they want on the show.

of course, tattoo artists are really busy. Hate to break it to you though, but those guys that are on the TV show are barely ever in the shop. A tattoo artist in my city knows one of the guys, and he told us this last time we were there.
