What you're describing is completely normal. I have tattoos on my arms, hips, and back, and the first few days they all peeled and most of mine also scabbed. I know it seems like the color is coming out of your tattoo, but the peeling is a good thing! It means your skin is healing normally and that top layer that's been saturated with ink is shedding, revealing the actual tattoo beneath it. It's important not to pick at the scabs or peel the skin, as this could pull the color out of your tattoo. If you let the scabs and peels come and go naturally, your tattoo will heal normally and look great! Good luck, and if you have any other questions, email me! devika_melora at yahoo dot com

Ok it's goin to scab. You wont be able to really tell if it has lost alot of color until after all the scabs fall off on their own! get some A&D onitment and use that to keep it moisturized! after 2 weeks just put some gentle lotion on it like Lubriderm! unscented is a must! keep it clean and you should be fine! after it heals if you see any type of discoloration go back to the tattoo artist and have it touched up!

Yes it is meant to scab. Just do not pick. Use Lubriderm lotion to keep it moist. This will also help with the itching. The color is not falling off. Your scabs will have the colors from the tattoo. Just wait until it is completely healed to see the finished product.

actually when i got mine when they scabbed it was the same color as the tat was so when it came off it looked the same color. I did not receive any special tat lotion they told me to use Vaseline. but whatever the case do not pick the scab let it fall off on its own. then see what the tat looks like.

that is like you've been there. top less than the knee cap in that hollow area above the tibia. and also you're top, in the summer season, wearing shorts in summerschool you may want to farm a scab for the total summer season!

NO!! I have 2 tats and there is a special kind of tat lotion they give you when your first get them done if it's your first time. If they are starting to scab and the color is fading, you didnt take care of them well enough and now they need to be redone.

yes they scab over, and the color doesnt really come off, its just where the scab part does, keep ointment on it A&D ointment and it will heal up nicely.
