Looking to get a bracelet done, memorial + celtic style, can't draw or sketch to save my life, having original art drawn up is expensive! Any suggestions?

I should have put it differently, the tattoo I can handle saving for, but the shops where I live now charge extra for design, so the cost of design plus a good tatt are too expensive.

being non artistic has no bearing on the quality of a tattoo that you can get. being broke does. why don't you save up your money and wait til you can afford to get something worth getting. i wasn't aware that having original pieces drawn up was expensive. in my experience getting the tattoo is the expensive part. and the cost of the original art is included in the cost of getting tattooed.

A bracelet really wont be that expensive. Probably between 60 and 100 dollars. Talk to a tattoo artist. They like to draw up custom stuff. Good luck.

actually, most artists will draw up an original piece of art for you for free, if you are getting the tattoo done by them.
or, some may charge a small fee, but that would contribute to the total cost of the tattoo.
i would recommend going to the artist who is doing your tattoo, to see what they come up with.
most artists are excited about doing custom and original tats, beats flash any day!!

Go on an Irish site and print the design you like the artist can go from there.

Just look for drawing books, and practice, practice, practice!!! Get honest opinions from your friends or family for your 'art' (the sketch), too. Either that, or you can save your money.

it didnt cost me anything to have mine drawn up. i just had to leave a 20 dollar deposit which goes toward the price of the tattoo.
