Most of the "shop minimums" I've seen have been around 65 bucks.

there is no way to give a price for a "small" tattoo. small is relative. i have a small tattoo that is 3 inches by 4 inches. is that small? or are you talking more about quarter size small?
most places either charge by the piece or by the hour. if they charge by the piece there is a minimum price no matter how small the tattoo the minimum price varys between $40 and $60 i would guess because of the supplies that are used. the only way to get a good idea of how much a tattoo will cost is to contact the place that you are going to get it at.

Depends on the size, what it is, if you want color, how intricate the tattoo is.
Most shops have a minimum of 50 or 60 bucks. I have a small anchor (about the size of a quarter) that cost me 50 bucks. Just depends. Go into your nearest shop & talk to an artist. That's the best way to find out for sure.

Most places will have a minimum dollar amount starting at $30 or $40 for the smallest stuff.
Price really depends on the piece and artist.
In houston, the average rate is $100/hour, unless the artist gives you a set price from the start.
i guess hourly rates are more for larger pieces.
I've never got a small one.

It all depends on the complexity, color, and location really. I know a few people with smaller tattoos that only cost them between $20-50. Then again, I have a small-medium one that was $80. Prices will vary by artists of course.

FIrst off it scares me that you worry about cost...this is something that will be on your body forever...quality not cost should be your main concern. There are definately times when bargains arent necessarily a good thing. Quality trumps cost any day!
Secondly as most ppl have said avg is abt 50-60 bucks to cover the cost strictly needles. Avg cost per hour is 100-125 an hour. Good luck and i hope you get a quality piece

Well, it depends on the size, location, color(s), and the artist him/herself. Remember- when shoping for something like this, be very careful and don't jump into anything. Take a sample of what tat you want, and ask a few artists.
*Remember, you get what you pay for, just because you found a person who charges 15 buck less... doesn't mean you should use him. Quality and experience is worth the costs!
Good luck!

IT all depends on the shop, artist and the tattoo itself. All places are different. The only way to get a price is to shop around first. Compare prices and choose the best one.
