Okay, so I'm thinking of getting a tattoo. Whatever tattoo I get, I want it to have meaning. I'm not going through that kind of pain for a little butterfly tattoo. I was thinking about getting one on the inside of my bottom lip that says hallelujah (Psalm 34:2 "I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.") but I heard that hurts like crazy! Any other creative ideas? I'd love to hear them.

I have a friend that had scripture tattooed in hebrew, it not only has personal meaning but looks cool and is a great conversation piece. (keep in mind when getting lengthy passages inked on, small letters tend to bleed over the years and become hard to read.)

I have a cross on my left ankle that has "faith, hope, love" written in the grain of the wood.
Eventually, I am going to get flowers underneath it that represent family and friends that have passed on. Each flower will be their birth flower and have their initials hidden in each one.
I will add Scripture to it later from 1John that says "Beloved, it is right to love for love is of God".
I would encourage you to pray about what you want and the witness you are giving with it. My tatts have opened so many doors to wonderful conversations.

You can tattoo Ezekiel 25:17 on your fist.
"And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them."
