I have 2 tats already and I have been wanting to get another with my kids names but I also want a dolphin tattoo. I am trying to think of 1 tattoo that could be both my kids name along with a dolphin. And I don't know where to put it. My other 2 are on my left shoulder blade. And the other is on my left breast right above my bra.
Any ideas?

I def like the idea of the dolphins with waves and your kids names incorporated in their. Maybe even if your kids are old enough to spell their names you can have it tattoo'd in their handwriting. A really good artist should be able to transfer that over with no problem.
Now for the area, think about how big you would like the tattoo and then decide from there..

I have two including a dolphin swimming in waves...work with a tattoo artist and see about incorporating your children's names into the design of the tattoo. And ignore those who speak negatively about tattoos...just shows how small their minds really are.
As far as location - with a tattoo with your kids name on it - keep it away from your lower back - seems tattoos on the lower back have earned the name of 'tramp stamp' and I'm sure you don't want to associate that with your kids' names. Instead, go for your ankle or perhaps right should blade or even upper arm (although that isn't always the most attractive place for a woman to have a tattoo).

maybe get this on on your lower back, with two dolphins facing each other an making a Heart shape in between them. an put there name in the middle. something like that would be cute! Maybe explain the ideal to tattoo place and they will come with a great ideal. Hope i helped.

Definitely work with a tattoo artist that is what they are suppose to help u with...my ideal tattoo with a dolphin and my kids names on it would be a dolphin splashing water up and having my kids names incorporated into them some how(maybe in graffiti art)

Have the Dolphin coming up from the sea. Then on the water have your childrens names written.

well, if you are done having kids, i think a very cute idea would to be to have the dolphin " jump " around your bellybutton and your kids names follow the shape of the dolphin in small cursive letters, the reason i picked to bellybutton is because your kids were most likely in your "stomach" at one point and the bellybutton (theirs) is how your children were once connected to you, it represents an ever-lasting bond.. and you can also hide it quite easily if you ever have to .. i think this would be adorable and very thoughtful! hope it helps! :)

Have like a dolphin in the air, with one child's name curved around the top of the dolphin and the other name curved along the bottom of the dolphin. Put it on your lower back, left side, above your bum a bit.

Maybe the ankle, foot, or hip.....calf, o the chest is good too!Maybe you could get a dolphin with water (waves ) coming up around it. You could have your kids' names in wispy writing in the waves. That way the writing is not blatant and bold, but it is there when you take time to look at it. ....... I dunno....just a thought.

Do you plan on having any other kids? If so, you might want to plan for something that can easily be added to so the others wont feel left out. If you don't plan on others, this would be really cuuuute...of course making some change to make it your own. Maybe have both kids names in the sun or one on each dolphin:

Id go for the lower back(just above your knickers) but that's just me, and tattoos are very personal, and you should always have it where you will be most happy with it for the rest of your life!! Also if your using writing, make sure its a font that wont look dated in a couple of years. Happy "inking' !!
