Go ahead and get one. Just make sure that isn't too big, dark, or detailed. Then when you get older you can get something done over it. I got my first tattoo 10 years ago when I was 19 and I didn't get it colored in or anything because I knew my tastes might change when I got older.
Just make sure that you have your parents' permission etc. A lot of tattoo parlors won't ink minors up.

well i will be 16 in a few days and i am doing the same! but i know alot of info on tats and piercings. newayz i think since ur a guy and u do weights u might wanna wait. either quit weights or go ahead with it but choose carefully!!!! make sure ur gonna want it and u will try to be observant of how it looks if u get bigger. u can always have it redone bigger (cover up of the distorted one) and then be happy. unless u wanna wait (best idea in ur case) and then be happier and not have to worry bt this possible conclusion of it getting screwed up. your first is ur most important one and u should be proud to show it adn not ashamed to show how distorted it has become! well nemore questions hit me up!

That's a possibility, but moreover you should choose the design of your tattoo very carefully. You can always get it touched up later if you're worried about the distortion. I have 2 smallish one on my biceps from when I was about your age (I'm 35 now) and sort of wish I didn't get them at all. They kind of frown upon them at the country club, lol.

My husband, now 41 has quite a few "old school" tattoos and they look like sh**. You will end up having to spend a lot of money later on having them fixed and touched up and then probably even covered up with something else.

Yeah, thats just one of the reasons why you should wait till you're 18. Also, I wouldn't trust any tattoo shop to do good work if they tattoo minors. So just wait, it wont feel so long once you're done.

Why would you want to do something that is permanent to
yourself at this age? You will change your mind later anyway.
It would be like driving the same car for your whole life. You
will get sick of it. Besides it will hurt anyway.

sorry but you have to be 18 years old to get a tattoo without a parent consent.

Good thinking...Wait until you have reached your maximum body mass. That way it wont become distorted.
