If an Anime character appeals to you today, will you still love it when you're fifty? A tattoo will stay with you for life and if your taste changes or your body changes, it's a very costly and painful procedure to remove it. I'm curious what motivates a person to get permanent body art. Please tell me about your reasons.

I know it depends on how big it is and also how detailed and who does it but i want 3 right off the back so if i could get some close ideas that be nice. The first one would be a portrait about 6inches by 6inches of my friends face i have a picture id take in, and i want that on my lower left part of my back. then since im the last person in my family alive im very proud of my last name because im the last in the world, i want that to be put along the top of my back across my shoulder blades. then the last one i want a cherry blossum tree up the right side of my back and kinda on my ribs from my pelvis up to my arm pit. iffff anyone has any kinda insight that be real nice. just like a close number, thanx

I want something that represents my loves- my faith and music. I don't want anything cliche though. I want a design thats unique and beautiful, but that also gets want i'm wanting across without people asking what it means. I'm looking for something to go either on my calf, ankle or lower back. I already have a tattoo on my right shoulder.
Basically I just don't know anyone to go to who can design this for me, so if anyone knows someone who could help me out, that would be great.

Thanks!

I mean...we do obviously...but the people that attack others for having tattoos typically claim that our tattoos are trashy and low class.

But I contend that a person that judges others and puts people down is way way more low class that any accusation that are making.

What says you?

I ask this because alot of people have this idea that tattoos are supposed to have deeper meaning and all this other bs. Alot of different cultures used tattooing for various reasons, some were to rites of passages and others used them as a symbol of beauty. Why is there so much predjudice within the tattoo community over reasons behind getting tattooed?

I would also like to know approximately how long would it take
to do this tattoo and the cost for it, (just for the wing part!!! and I
want it on my back)

The reason I'm asking this question is because I would like
to know a fair price range for this tattoo, and so I can have
the budget for this tattoo. Thanks!

I had a tattoo done when I was really young... I really regret getting it... Especially because it was a spare of the moment thing. It's dark blue/purple and pretty big. I have sensitive skin so my skin is a little bumpy there. So I was wondering if I would be able to cover it nicely without having it look bad. I was watching Miami Ink and was curious.

*Note* I really have sensitive skin and the area of my tattoo is bumpy due to the sensitivity of my skin. And I wanted to cover it with a lot of cherry blossoms and a lotus. Which is a lighter color.

My younger brother is 5 and loves SpongeBob and Go Diego Go cartoons. We were at the mall and a lady stopped, looked at my brothers hand that had a spongebob and Go Diego Go temporary tattoo and said "I can't believe that. That's extremely disturbing" I was like it's a kids temporary tattoo, chill out. Do you think she was over reacting? Is that really "disturbing" for the majority?

I want to get a medium sized portrait of my two year old daughter. I am not sure where to get it. I don't want to look trashy and I want to be able to cover it up when needed. I have two already, one on the back of my neck and one on my ankle.
Thanks!!

read a report the other day that 37% of queers got tattoos!! and only like 20% of straight people do!!

You straight people better get with the program before some nutcase(s) start associating tattoos with those horrible queers.

Just saying

HURRY!!! Times as wasting!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys, I know that logic suggests going to the artist who did my tattoo, but at the moment it's not an option.

I got my tattoo at the end of March, so it's had a good three weeks to flake which I'm pretty sure it's done (asides from a small area lower on the foot). Would it be an issue to start wearing footwear which is likely to rub the design? I don't believe it'll irritate to the extent where skin damage will occur, but I've come this far now I really don't want to mess my tattoo up.

Thanks
