Depending on your pain tolerance!

For me it was fine! I had it clamp, that felt like a pinch (imagine a pinch that was the worst ever) the needle goes through, the bar is put in (real quick). By the time its pierced and you leave the pain will be gone. It will feel arkward and sore a little. Trust me its worth it! Think of the end result!

Ouch it hurts like hell. Out of all the piercings and tattoo's I've had the belly button ring was the worst. I couldn't stand it so i took it out! http://www.tattoofire.com

I am 12 years old. I got my belly button pierced 5 or 6 weeks ago.
First they clamp your belly button and that hurts the most.
Then you breathe in and they stick the needle half way through
When you breathe out they stick it the rest of the way in

It doesnt hurt that much but you can barely bend for a week.

GOOD LUCK

no and yes lol, depends on your pain threshold, they usually freeze your belly button first with a spray and the only thing you really feel is the clamp they put on so the needle goes in ok, i really didn't think it was bad, it gets a bit stingy for a couple of days after though

well i got anaesthetic when i got mine done... the needle felt like a tiny prick (and i HATE needles so yeah), then i felt my belly a bit later and i was like oh my god i can still feel me touching my belly.. isn't it supposed to be all numb so i cant feel anything? but the doc told me it just doesn't make you feel pain... i didn't look what the doc was doing when i got it done, i was too scared. then i asked... have you finished yet??? and he said..."i finished like 2 Min's ago". I'm like wow! i didn't even feel it! how good was that! so it doesn't hurt at all if you anaesthetic by needle...(local anaesthetic)... but some places don't give anaesthetic. a friend of mine got it done without it and she said it wrecked! so yep... go the local anaesthetic...!

not for me it didnt!

But i was 18/19 and i have a high pain tolerance!

It will only hurt for a moment, if you want to get it done go do it. Also it will take a while to heal, so please be sure to wear sutible clothing for a while, otherwise you will rip the bar out.

Please follow instructions that the piercer gives you, and let it heal, and remember to wear genuine titanium bars, not cheap ones!

Good Luck

It hurts when the numbness wears off. And if you catch it by mistake. You need to bathe it twice a day and be really careful about catching it on your clothes.

If you go thinking that it won't hurt it will, but if you go thinking that it will hurt like hell it will probably won't be as bad as you thought it would be (if you get me). Make sure you clean it and stuff afterwards or it will take years to heal.
Good luck -x
