Hey I got a tattoo about a week ago and I have started having complications such as white bumps that look like white pimples they also hurt. I went to the doctor and he put me on antibodies the bumps have clear a little bit but sometimes pus comes out

That's because you have a staph infection. Wash it with an antibacterial soap and take your antibiotics like the doctor prescribed and stop messing with it!

Well it sounds to me like its probably just little pimples. This is VERY common with using things like A&D and lotion too often (or at all). some people's skin just reacts differently to a constant application of moisturizer. it could also be an alergy to whatever you're using, which would explain the meds helping. if it was an allergy to the ink your arm would feel like its falling off by now. good luck!

It sounds like you're putting too much moisturizer on it. I would go back to the doctor though if it keeps up. If puss is coming out of the sores, it's possible the area could get infected. Keep a careful eye on the area so your ink won't get ruined and your health won't be compromised!

Gee that would be called an infection I think. Yeah that's it infection. like tatt brat said, take your meds and keep it clean and stop messing with it so much. don't put on too much crap on it either, it needs air.
