wow this is an easy two points...10 if i like your answer... so far i have got one person who (although they didn't answer) did stick up for the art and was interested in the question... and someone who misunderstood the whole damn thing...

obviously i can't WATCH someone get it done... so i figured i would ask... if your going to be rude...go somewhere else... i don't want to hear (read) your close minded views...

pardon me... 2 people who didt actually READ the question... not where should i get one... not how do they PIERCE it... but how... wait...

HOW IS THE TATTOO DONE!?!?! thats all i want to know...

ok here...

state of the penis? (hard soft... i think it would be hard to keep it up...no pun intended)

after care... like a regular tattoo? how does it feel (tattoos get scabby... )

there is something to start with... answer that and go from there...

My friend is a tattoo artist and he told me a story of a guy who wanted his penis tattooed. One artist in his shop agreed to do it and charged him an insane amount for the tattoo. He said that the penis is not erect. It is soft so that the skin can be stretched while tattooing. I am not a man but I can not imagine if the skin was being stretched taut and tattooed at the same time! He said the guy didnt complain too much and sat thru a two hour long sitting. The healing process is the same as any other but I can only imagine! Have you seen the picture of the penis tattoo that is a dragon?? I have pasted link to the picture. Pretty crazy!!

I work in an emergency room... I have seen EVERY possible square milimeter of skin tissue tatooed (I think). This includes penial tissue. I have seen genital piercings of all variety. A young female that has "ALL" tatooed and pierced told me that the nipple was the most sensitive area of all. I think if you are having genital tatoos of any kind...they all would be high on the list of highly sensitive. There is a release of "natural painkillers" (endorphins) when significant pain is encountered. I think some... self-medicate prior to the procedure. There are a number of people that are not the overly modest type...or...they are more than on a first-name basis with the tatoo artist... so presenting a member for decoration isn't a major issue. I would guess a semi-erection would make the process easier.

I was sent an email once of a tatoo'd penis that was represenitive of a dragon...complete with green scales...done in red, yellow, orange, blue, green and black ink. It was detailed and elaborate.

That is my best answer

I'm not sure on that one.. definately a good question to ask my tattoo artist friend!

And there is nothing wrong with vagina piercings, you shallow minded person. That's very offensive.

Edit -- I just got an idea, although you can't watch a guy getting it done, you could ask a tattoo artist how they do it. Tell them that you're considering getting one, and would like to know how they do it. If you don't feel comfortable going in and talking face to face you could call and talk to an artist. They should be glad to help ya!

It's my understanding that the guys does NOT have to maintain an erection for 4-5 hours in order to do this - though how the artwork looks WILL be a factor then...

------------------

Edit: In fact, it's VERY dangerous for a guy to be hard for that long - it's called "Priapism", and in extreme cases it can lead to AMPUTATION

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priapism

------------------

The artist likely has to draw a VERY detailed design - which would STILL look good when stretched!!

As for the actual steps - I'd assume it would be just like any other area:

The guy would take his pants off, sit down in the chair (legs spread), and the artist would work as usual ;););)
