I am a guy thinking of getting my first tattoo - a small design that's quite personal to me. Not sure where to put it though - I want it somewhere fairly private and easy to conceal but not too common. I've been thinking of having it done at the top of my butt cheek, kinda just peeking out of my underwear. Do you think that's a cool place or too weird?

Have it where you want,you're the one who's going to carry it for the rest of you life,so only your opinion matters.
I wouldn't personally get one there,if you want it in that region go a bit higher (just peeking over waistband of your jeans) type positioning.
Or move it to the front and put it on the lower hip area.

Seriously why do you have to be gay to get a tattoo on your butt? You dont have to fit into the gay catogory to have a tattoo done on your butt..
This tattoo is entirley up to you and wherever you want it done there go for it.. It doesnt have to be a masculine place to get it. Gay men getting tattoo's dont just get flowers or stuff like that i have seen men with tattoo's on their bum and they are not gay..
Its not fair to call someone guyjust for where they have or are getting their tattoo..

To me that is a little strange still a cool thought though.
Why not move it to the front and get it around your hip bone area? or on your side under your arm.
But still that is all up to you. It is your body.

I have a tattoo on my back hip, which is not quite by my butt and not too far onto my side and not visible from the front. I think you should go for it!

Never mind about the gay comment. That's as stupid as the 'if you have your left lobe pierced you're gay', it doesn't make any sense. If you want your tattoo there then get it there. It will be there FOREVER so for the first tattoo you maybe do want to get it in such a place.

Getting a tattoo is about showing your individuality...so put it where you like....I agree about being able to conceal it.
I have 6...none are visible unless I choose to show them.
By the way...I only "wanted one" lol...its addictive.

depending on who you want to show it do, place it there so that the SHOW is more entertaining than the tattoo itself.
