I'm really interested in getting a tattoo on the sole of my foot. I know that they don't last long, but i like the idea of nothing being permanent...very zen.
my question is, how long do they last? i don't want to pay for one if they will only last for a month or so. also? how painful are they compared to tattoos in other places?
please only answer is you are a tattoo artist of have/know someone who has a tattoo in the bottom of their foot.

It will only last a month - some areas are more painful than others. We won't do them in our studio.

It'll look like you stepped in poo. It'll smear all up and fade real fast, and just think if you are ticklish at all..Also from people I know whos palms & hands are tatted say that the palm/hand was their most painful, heavily tatted people..so I imagine stepping on a bunch of tacks. Just check out all the bad pain tattoo reviews for the foot. The good thing is, you wont walk for a looong time and then it will always be covered up. You'll be hoppin around like a little bunny for a couple of weeks maybe even a month. On top of that try finding an artist that will do it. Get a temporary tattoo...very zen.

Real tatoos are forever. but henna tattos last about 2-3 weeks and aren't painful at all.
