I am the same way. i got mine over 10 years ago and it is ridiculous the names they have given it. I still love mine and would think twice about removing it. We are part of the genre that aren't sluts. So, don't worry about it. If anything just get it re-inked or added onto. This will make you feel better about it.
Now, you got because you wanted it and liked it. Most of these girls today just get them to fit in, So, be yourself and don't worry about what other idiots say!! Oh and Rock ON!

Who cares how popular it is? What matters is whether or not YOU like your tattoo. I have one on my lower back and I have never actually heard anyone in person refer to it as a "tramp stamp." And any one who does is making unfounded assumptions and isn't worth your time anyway. If you like the tattoo, keep it. Then again, if you are considering removing it just because of its popularity or because of that phrase, you obviously don't have a strong connection to this tattoo to begin with. Tattoo removal is extremely painful and expensive, so make sure you think long and hard about whether or not its worth it to remove it just because a few people stupidly refer to it as a "tramp stamp"

I just have to say first of all: Right on CuteSexy!!!!
I do not regret my lower back tattoo, the jerks who use the term tramp stamp to label us gals who have the tattoo there know nothing about us and therefore the term should not bother us. I just don't let them get under my skin. Just because I have a tattoo there it doesn't make me a tramp, the only person that sees it is my husband and possibly the doctor.

Whether your tattoo was for art, an accessory to your personality, or just a drunken mistake, at his point, what you need to ask yourself is "Am I considering having it removed because some douche called it a 'tramp stamp', or because it's no longer artful, cool, or a statement of who I am?" To some degree, you must not care what other people think if you got it in the first place. I am of the opinion that you should give it a second chance. However, at the end of the day, it's YOU who has to be happy with your ink, and if you're so unhappy with it that you are willing to undergo hours of potentially painful removal procedures, then you should.

Meh. People who call it a tramp stamp on me obviously have no idea that I was with my man for a couple years before I got it and am still with him and that I am faithful to him 100%. I really don't care. I still love mine. I got it before all this talk of "tramp stamp" too(in 1999). Thbbbbbbbbtttt to anyone who says evil about me without knowing me!:P
And eff that. Chunky chicks look hot with tattoos too. If you don't like chunky chicks, dude? Just don't effing look. There are enough chubby chasers who appreciate the love and freakiness that big girls have to offer. (You haven't had good brain until you've had it from a phat girl any damn way. Moron. You just don't know what you are missing. I'm not offering-but um, my man sure appreciates ALL this big girl has to offer. Power to the thick chicks.)

I love my "tramp stamp" as it is so frequently called. There is serious meaning in it for me. If it means something to you then I wouldn't consider removal.. But if it doesn't then maybe. But removal (from what I hear) is far more painful than the actual tattoo process. I too got mine before it was largely popular.

No... I love my cranium and crossbones with damaged hearts for eyes it doesn't matter what impolite names idiots would possibly arise with. Though i discover the word 'tramp stamp' offensive... i hate to confess how compatible it is demonstrated to be time and time once more. :::::sigh:::::::: Woah! I simply concept.. what if any person will get a tattoo of the phrase 'tramp' within the variety of a stamp.. on that discipline? I'd have SO a lot admire for that huge.......

I got a tatoo years ago, was lucky enough to know to hide it where only a few got to see it. Nowadays I see so many beautiful young girls with tatoos all over their body and wonder how they will feel when they are old like me. My son refuses to even date a girl with any, and glad mine is hidden. Why not try the new henna ones from now on? at least they dont last a lifetime. I worked in a nursing home, saw a few there on older women, and through the years, they looked horrible.

If you got the tattoo for you then keep it for you! People say the same about tongue rings. I have several tattoos. Sometimes I feel, "why did I get these?". But honestly I know why, because I wanted them. SOME people in society will always have something negative to say about something. If you go places where it might be concidered offensive just in general, wear something that covers it. Otherwise you can have a scar where it used to be and people will ask about it or say something about that too. Sticks and stones.
