dont pick it. keep it moist with what ever they told you to use. If you pick the scab it will leave discolored spots.

NO NO NO don't pick it off it'll be dicolored. And don't let it get that dry to the point where it falls off either. It'll just come out faded when it heals you need to get some tattoo grease/ lotion to keep it moist. Must keep it moist.

As everone has already said, DONT PICK IT. If it is annoying you and is itchy, the best way, i found, was to absolutely slather on some vaseline to help soften the scab, wait 5 mins, then wipe it off. This will help soften any loose scab, and remove it safely, with out any damage to the tat.

Be sure that you are using Tattoo Goo or Neosporin on it. Do NOT pick at it, it will come off on its own. If you pick at it and peal it off then you will lose the color in the tattoo and it will look messed up.

DO NOT pick it off. Let it slough off naturally. You may peel off some of the pigment if you don't wait. I have a big white spot in my tattoo from doing just that.

DO NOT!!!!!! pick it off. just let it fall off on it's own.just keep it clean and moist. use dial unscented and if your tattooist carries tattoo goo use that. don't use anything that has petroleum, vasiline, lanolin or nesporin ... since that stuff tends to pull out the color on your tattoo. a&d is bad for your art too.
