I've had problems keeping my weight normal since a few years now. I had a baby 4 months ago and now i'm desperate to fit back into size 10 clothes(i'm a 16 now). The problem is whenever i feel low i binge eat ,sometimes i don't get back on my diet for a few days and i gain back the pounds that i just lost.
I realised recently that my attitude towards food stems from my childhood.
My parents would give me the same food portions as them and tell me if i didn't eat it all then i'd eat it for breakfast.
When i went to my grandparents every sunday i felt safe and happy. The thing is whilst i was there they would stuff me full of sweets, cakes, trifle, crisps, chocolate, ice-cream - you name it they had it, and i could eat whatever i wanted.
I eat big portions, i can never seem to stop when i'm full and i binge on crappy foods when i'm down - if theres none in the cupboards then i go the bakery and get choc ecairs etc.
anyone know how i can combat this?
