That's is way of showing you how much he love you .man can't show love but you have a father i never did.so make the best of it.

It is a clash in age gap. I did when I was in my twenties. Until when I became a father of 2 kids, then only I deeply realized I did the same to my kids. It was because of love and care my dad did unto me.

parents want children to live up to standards which were acceptable and realistic when they were growing. we might do the same with our children. generation gap is the factor. no one can prove who is right or wrong. each opinion could be proved right or wrong. it's the difference in opinions. so take it easy. i used to argue with my dad all the time too. Now I am married and live in a different country. I speak to him once a week over the , but we hardly have anytime to argue anymore. things will settle with time for you as well.

I don't know but why don't you try doing something together that you both like...fishing....go for a walk but try to stop the fighting because life is too short not to..

Your old man will not be fighting with you if he didn't care about you. You won't realize it now, but when you are older and have your own kids, then you will realize.
