because from what i read all we would do is serve god and praise him all the time up there. if thats what heaven really is like i would rather go to puratory.

Heaven is a bright place because God is the light, there is no sun. The road is made of gold. There are a lot of mansions where the people who served Him will live. There are full of joy, because there are no more sickness and diseases. There are no parasites, rodents and insects. The animals are tamed you can even touch the lions and tigers. There are a lot of singing yes, because we will sing for Him but not all day long. For each one has their time to praise God and have their rest and enjoy the place. And there is no place such as purgatory, it's not in the bible. Hope I helped you and God bless.

I believe to get a "hint" what Heaven and Hell is like can be experienced on earth. Imagine if you will, you are a contestant on the World Idol Reality show and you WIN! The feeling of elation, happiness, tears, gratefulness and joy is like one of those samplers you find at the supermarket of what heaven can FEEL like. Or when you have been away from your loved one for a long time... and at the airport you meet? That instant rush of relief mixed with joy is probably what heaven is like. Mauritius sounds like a Garden of Eden :) You guys have wonderful tastes!
Hell on the other hand is like a whole day of things going wrong, Bad Hair day, Punctured tyre on a highway at 9am in the morning rush hour, arriving to work late and your boss yells things to you that would make even a SIngapore Ah Beng blush. and most of all when a HEATWAVE happens and your aircon is busted... 33*C of 90% humidity! or In cold cold winter and your heater dies on you, shower has NO HOT WATER...THAT is hell... lol

where did you read this at? heaven is a place that you will enjoy you whole life being there. Your thinking like that right now but once someone is in heaven no bad thought will ever cross your mind. Because you wont have to worry about anything. you will always be happy.

Sylvia Browne has an excellent description of Heaven in her book "God Creation and Tools for Life." But to summarize why you don't wont to go to purgatory; you can spy on people here on Earth and the sex in Heaven is better. Yes, there is sex in Heaven.

Heaven would be a place where people are not fighting each other and trying to make each other feel bad.
Where the newspapers are not set on manipulating us into hating each other because it sells papers and makes them rich.
Where people with a chip on the shoulder are not re-writing history to try and make some other group feel bad.
Where we do not sell arms to warring nations so that they can destroy each other and make fat bank balances for the sellers.
Where we would not feel inadequate and therefore easy to manipulate into hating others. (We only hate others to the extent that we hate ourselves/We hate ourselves to the extent that we hate others, it's a circle!).
Where we don't look back into history for someone to blame for feelings we have, that really have nothing to do with the people we're blaming.
I guess that's enough for now.

i think it i snothing like anyone can imagine. Im not into doing things I dont wish to do, but I believe that if you are there, you would want to praise god. On the other hand..I dont believe that I am going to heaven or hell.

Well.. on the first place hevean is just an imagination place i can say.. where lives those who rightouses..i am not saying its not exist but since no one has been in there we cant make it tangible..and i belive we would be there by souls not bodies...and we can all see its beauty and splendid through our dignities and concieousness..because by doing right thing your soul has been touched by hevean calamity and u would be blessed

My heaven would be..a Continuous episode of "Barney"..with no end ever. Id be one of those alcoholic brats that pander to the stuffed purple idiot...and all my friends would be made to sing instead of talk..no matter whats going on..and wed spend endless hours doing absolutely nothing substantial.

I think that Heaven would have a lot of fog, but also a lot of sparkly lights. And there would be this pool we could look into and view those we left behind in life and if we can catch them sleeping, they will dream of us.
