Am going in November for 3 weeks and want to pack loads in so timings are crucial. If I can pre-book hotels on the net in advance it will keep the cost down too.

'Hopeless' has accused me of being racist because I posted a question saying that I resented messianic jews telling me that I would one day 'be open to Jesus'.

I pointed out in my post that no Jewish person believes that Jesus was the messiah. I then removed the question because I realised that it may just provoke an argument and I didn't want to do that.

Now 'Hopeless' tells me I am 'racist'.

Your thoughts? What do you feel about messianic judaism?

Why are non Jews allowed to tell Jews how to define their religion?

I have a huge fascination for Asia and especially for China. I went there for 3 weeks and it was the greatest place I ever visited. I am fluent in English, French and Mandarin Chinese but still have time to learn Cantonese. I am 17 years old, still in high school, live with my father and I plan to study international business and management in University and probably get an MBA. My father have been living all over Europe and he doesn't really like Asia so I think it would be really hard to convince him to help me.

What can/should I do right now in order to prepare for my dream? I want to have my own business somewhere around southern China. I know it's far away from the present but still, this is my wish (or part of it). My father would gladly help me if I wanted to move somewhere in Europe or even in USA but I think he would be scared by the idea of me moving to Asia, it would probably be very hard to get support from him ashe have a very "Western" mindset.

Thanks in advance.

I would like to know what your experience was like. How was the observation car? Do's and dont's. My first train ride. What can I take on as far as beverages and food. I'm sure it's expensive to buy drinks and food onboard. Only info pertaining to this question thanks.

I'm moving to the St. Petersburg, FL area in January and am looking for a decent apt in the area. I'll be working on my PhD at USF St Pete and would like to live within 20 minutes or so from there. I'm not looking to spend a ton. Any suggestions on good neighborhoods/towns/etc? Thanks!

I'm going to be riding the Greyhound bus soon from Pennsylvania to Florida and I was wondering how thoroughly they check your carry-on bags, or if they check them at all? I want to bring some "personal," non-harmful items with me on the bus in my purse, but I'm not going to if I'm going to get checked. I'll just keep these items in my pockets or something.

If anyone has ever been on a Greyhound bus and could provide some information as to how they check the bags and luggage, it would be very helpful.

I notice that some places online are asking for people willing to locate to China for work, but many of these places ask that you have a Bachelor's Degree or more. I, presently, do not have either but am at 1/3rd of the time necessary to acquire an Associates Degree; however I have numerous years of working experience that I believe would humble even the most adept graduate. So, is the Bachelor's Degree required for visa or is it the companies themselves making this request? Are there other ways to work in an Asian country without the degree, perhaps on a permanent basis? Are there companies that hire in the Unites States for relocation?

I have no felonies, no misdemeanors, and all my work history since I was 16 has involved graphic design, web design, and other computer-related works. I am also an autodidact, which is perhaps the only quality (which I hold in high regards) that might be a hindrance in relocating.

I always drink when I fly (only 1 drink of course) but usually the flight is in the afternoon. My next flight is at 6:00am in the morning, so I was wondering if anyone has every drank on an early morning flight and do they even offer it. It's only a three hour flight, but I'd like to have a glass of wine.

This Chinese man moved into his new home in Australia.
His Aussie neighbour, Jack, being the nice Aussie bloke that he was, decided to make him feel welcome. So he went next door to wish him welcome.
He was shocked to see the Chinese man in his nice backyard chasing ten chickens around like mad. "Must be a Chinese custom" he thought to himself.
So he decided that he could put off the welcome until a later date and went back home.
The next day, he decided he was going to welcome the Chinese man.
When he looked through his window, he saw the Chinese man urinate into a cup and drink it. "Must be a Chinese custom" he thought to himself.
Deciding he could put off the welcome till tomorrow, he went on with other stuff.
The third day, he was determined he had to welcome the Chinese man.
At his gate, he saw the Chinese man with his ear pressed against a cow's big fat butt.
He became angry and went up to the Chinese man and yelled in his face,
"I'm sorry mate, I want to wish you a welcome, but I cannot stand your crazy Chinese customs!"

The Chinese man looked confused and answered. "Sorry sir, I think you are mistaken. These are actually Australian customs. I was told, to become an Australian, you have to chase chicks, drink piss, and listen to bullshit."
