your question is very confusing. in Italy we use the euro, like most of the rest of Europe, since 2001 (I'm not exactly sure about the year). Anyway, before that the currency was the Italian lira (not to be confused with the Turkish lira) that was worth much less. I hope i helped

Not sure about the rest of your question. If you need the exchange rate against the $ then check in your local newspaper or ask in your local bank

If I understand well your answer you would like to Know if Italy has an own money.
From 2002 we have no more Lira , but Euro like others European countries.
