I am going to disney with my bf and his job (havent been there in 15 yrs!) and we only have 3 full days there and are trying to do all 4 parks. Is animal kingdom worth going or should we nix it?? Also, is fantasmic something we should try to see because it doesnt seem to be fitting into our schedule?
Thanks in advance!

Yeah Nix the Animal Kingdom and go to UNIVERSAL STUDIOS ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE.

Hit Animal Kingdom, just so you can say you did all 4 parks. But you won't need more then half a day. Safari & Everst are probably the only two must do's. If you have time the Lion King or Nemo show are also both very good.

I would pair Animal Kingdom with Epcot because it's a good evening park, so you can start at DAK and end at Epcot. Fantasmic is good, but it's a big time commitment as you need to go at least an hour early to get a seat. If you can't make it, you'll still have fun somewhere else.

Have fun! Don't worry too much about what you are missing, cause there is so much to do, you'll enjoy what ever you end up doing.

Trying to fit 4 parks into 3 days will require a park hopper ticket which will be an extra $45 per person. You lose the time traveling between parks. Since you haven't been there, I'm inclined to recommend that you pick the three parks that are most interesting to you and enjoy them thoroughly.

Having said that, it will be hard to cut out a park because they are all very good. I personally love Animal Kingdom and we spend the whole day there - from park opening to park close. Are you traveling soon? If so, the shorter park hours will make it harder to combine 2 parks into one day. You also need to schedule around the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties which cause Magic Kingdom to close early. Use the calendar function at www.disneyworld.com to help figure out show schedules and park hours. The Epcot Food & Wine festival (also October) draws a lot of local visitors on the weekend so try to visit Epcot on a week day.

If you enjoy shows, you'll really enjoy Disney MGM Studios. There are not many rides and 2 are thrill rides: Rock'n Rollercoaster & Tower of Terror. Fantasmic is quite an impressive production even if they storyline is a typical fairy tale featuring Mickey Mouse.

www.allearsnet.com is a great website with information about the parks.

You may want a touring plan to help you avoid crowds. I've used www.buildabettermousetrip.com for custom plans.

Since 3 days will be a fairly tight squeeze you will have to either miss one park or split a day among two parks which would require a Park Hopper ticket.

*Both Magic Kingdom and Epcot are the two must-see parks and will each require a FULL DAY including their night-time firework shows which are both must-sees, especially Illuminations at Epcot which is the best firework show I have ever seen, *be sure to get a good viewing spot immediatly around the lake with the least obstacles possible.

If you decide to miss a park; I must say that Animal Kingdom would be the best pick. If you decide to purchase a Park Hopper then you can do both Animal Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios in the same day, Animal Kingdom in the morning and Disney-MGM Studios in the late afternoon/evening. If you can't fit Fantasmic into your schedule then don't worry about it, its a good show but its not necessarily a #1 must see.

Be sure to browse the official website with lots of helpfull info:

I dont think Animal Kingdom or MGM will be an all day thing for you. I would try to see both if you can, like do one half a day and do one the rest of the day. MGM is a lot smaller and than some of the other parks and even though Animal Kingdom is the largest of the parks they dont have quite as many attractions. Definitly go on the Kilamanjaro Safari's, Dinosaur, and Expedition Everest.
Not sure about Fantasmic but Illuminations at Epcot is the best fireworks show I have ever seen. Its awesome. Have fun and good luck!

I wouldn't skip any park. I would make a full day for Magic Kingdom and Epcot. I would go to Animal Kingdom in the morning and MGM in the afternoon. Fantasmic is WAY WORTH seeing!!!! It's one of my favorite nighttime shows at Disney. If you can fit it in you won't be disappointment.

Have fun!

If you are into animals its great otherwise u can skip it or go just for a some of the rides. Dinosaur ride, The rapids, and Everest Expedtion roller coster are really fun. Than spend the rest of the day in MGM. Fantasmic is amazing. At night try to go Downtown Disney because it is really nice down there. Have fun

If you must eliminate a park, animal kingdom is a good one. You will be missing out on Expedition Everest and It's Tough to be a Bug two of my favorites. Fantasmic is great, worth any amount of trouble.

I loved Animal Kingdom and didn't think I would, so don't pass it up. If you get the multiday pass then you can visit more than one park in the same day, so maybe combine Animal Kingdom with another park.

Animal Kingdom is totally worth it! Go there early in the morning, walk towards Africa, get a cinnamon roll at the Tusker House and go on the Safari!! Do the Gorilla trek and head over to China and do the river rapids ride and tiger walk. Finish your day at the tree of life and see its tough to be a bug.. if you have time see the lion king show... from there you can take a bus to any of the other parks. i would head to mgm and head straight to the tower of terror/rockin roller coaster, you can get a fast pass for one while you wait in line for the other.. the new car show at mgm is great too.

on your other days, start off at magic kindom early.. go towards big thunder mountainsplash ,mountain get a fast pass for one and wait n line for the other ride.. head over to the haunted mansion. go to the philar magic 3-D show/winnie the poo ride (too cute!).. head over to space mountain. call it a day.. head back to the pool, relax and go to down town disney at night and see cirque du soleil.

day 3... epcot.. take your time and enjoy food and wine throughout world showcase.. dont miss test track or soarin in future world.

You can get park hopper passes and go from park to park.. i personally hate Fantasmic, its just weird.. I like Illuminations at EPCOT much better
