We are looking at what to do in Freeport when we go on our cruise.
We were thinking about a kayak trip to Peterson Cay. Is this worth the money (about $80 per person)?
How is the shopping there? Is it easy to get to (walking distance) or do you have to take a cab?
WE will be there from 10-6 will we have time to do both the Peterson Cay and a little shopping?
Peterson Cay is 5.5 hours

Thanks for your help!

They can do whatever they like among themselves granted it's a "human tendency" to make fun of others.

But don't they realise it can be taken as insensitive and rude by those who know nothing of Australian "matey" culture. Using verbal insults in basic conversation rubs it simply the wrong way -people are people and anyone can act like a fool on occasions- doesn't mean you need to parody him for a slip-up.

Here's one very recent example; at an India-Aus, ODI cricket match, http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,21985,22533400-11088,00.html

Ricky Ponting definitely said something very provocative and insulting; and why is always South Asian batsmen who are made to lose their temper (it's clearly deliberate and intentional). Some players like Tendulkar and Dravid may be fine with the sledging because of their past experience in dealing with it. And don't give me the excuse BECAUSE they win everytime! There are plenty of matches they lost badly but were never insulted in return

I've got a problem. I'm a young male who has just finished school and tertiary education but find myself stuck between two lives. While in High School I spent 4 months on an exchange program in Japan. It was one of the most happy experiences of my life. After finishing my tertiary education I revisited Japan to chill out and unwind before I start full time work again. I've now secured a steady job with many money making and career opportunities in the future if I stick with it. I've been working full time now 5 months. But the big question I have is what should I do? I'm torn between these two worlds. My idea is take a year or 2 in japan to finish learning the language fully and then chill a bit before coming back to serious work. In Japan I could privately tutor english and rent a apartment, living week by week. I mean the smart thing to do would be to stay put and start a career early to get money together. But I really want to go to Japan and enjoy myself. Its a real catch 22.Ideas?

or bel3araby keda "3al ahwa"? What is so good about it? It seems to me that a lot of Egyptian men's best time is the time they spend at elahwa. Why? is it because of friends (elshillah), sheesha, or tawla? Or maybe the homemade coffee and tea isn't as good and tastey as the ones made in elahwa. And why do some men prefer to go to the dirty, cheap ones?lool

or is it only my husband? lol

My husband is a tax advisor in the UK with CTA qualification working for Chartered Accountants. Is it possible for him to get skilled migration visa? I haven't seen this position on the list, but I have heard that they are looking for tax advisors.

Thanks for all answers

The Princeton Taekwondo team needs to get from Princeton University in New Jersey to MIT in Boston, Massachusetts on October 13th and back to Princeton on October 14th. We're working with limited funds. So, what's the easiest and cheapest transportation choice for the Princeton Taekwondo team? Where can I reserve such transportation? Thanks!

If your country (Philippines) was at war with another country (even US or France), which side would you fight for?

Why? Best answer gets 10.

Is it encouraged at all? I mean I am planning to visit Cuba and I have been doing a lot of research. And every time I read an article on related subject, I find something about tourists should travel with medicine. Why? is it to donate ? or sell?

How much did you spend on the adventure total? Travel, fees, the Corps-related merchandise you HAD to take home with you, etc? Also, if you've been more than once or had a particularly good time, what's the best way to get the most for your money out of the trip (i.e. other things to do, things to remember to take that you, of course, didn't think of 'till you needed them)?

Being a former band nerd, I've always wanted to go and I'm curious about it.

I am considering going on a short vacation around the second or third week of October. However, my destination would probably be somewhere outside of the United States. I do not have a passport. I understand that the expedited service takes three weeks. I doubt I'd be able to get one in time. Is there anyway I'd still be able to go?

I went to the Passport website and there was some mention of "If you do not have your passport but are traveling within the next seven days, please call ...." So does that mean it's doable? Has anyone done this?

It's not a huge deal, I could choose some US place to go instead or delay the trip until November or December.

Thanks in advance.

And---> I'm a US citizen...born here...and have a valid driver's license as well as any of the other forms of ID that I would need. The only thing I don't have, obviously, is a passport.
