I'm moving to the St. Petersburg, FL area in January and am looking for a decent apt in the area. I'll be working on my PhD at USF St Pete and would like to live within 20 minutes or so from there. I'm not looking to spend a ton. Any suggestions on good neighborhoods/towns/etc? Thanks!

You can find a decent place in Madeira Beach or Treasure Island, both nice towns on the gulf. Gulfport is nice too. In St. Pete, try Pinellas Point, Old Northeast, or Kendall Park.
