My boyfriend and I go to Paris from the 26th till the 29th Decembre. I would like to suprise him in Paris with something really fun or romantic. Something that we can do there in Paris, but it also has to be something he wouldn't guess. So no Eifeltower or etc. .Who has some ideas?

I have been all over the US and Europe and each trip last only as long as my funds do, then it's back home to the 9 to 5 life. I am completely addicted to traveling. I need some ideas on how to make my traveling last longer on less money. Any and all tips are appreciated. Also pen pals and travel companions are welcome...... Favorite place in the world, Amsterdam, followed closely by Paris.

Background Info: I'm 22 & studying world history in college. I'm planning on going on a short trip to China next Spring Break, something I've wanted to do for YEARS now. My close friend Daniel is a teacher at a martial arts/kung fu school, and would LOVE the opportunity to go to Hong Kong and visit the Shaolin temple, since he studies under a Grand Master who studied at Shaolin.

I want to take my friend Daniel to China with me. It just makes sense.

My fiance is jealous and says that taking another man to another country with me is crossing the line.

Fiance is an ex-Marine who has been to many difference countries and I haven't, and I'm a world history major. Of course I would take HIM with me to China, but he has no deep interest in it. Daniel on the other hand DOES, it's his dream.I would rather travel to a country with someone that's going to enjoy it as much as I do, not have someone "tagging along", just because. If that's the case, I'd rather just go by myself. What to do? :(

OH Yeah, It's so beautiful that I love the way manila has lots of smog and lots of squatters. Is it really that beautiful? I know other Islands in the Philippines are more beautiful like Boracay and all the other beautiful Island, but the main land of the Philippines? Not so beautiful to me. But the people are beautiful as in great people.

Would I go back to the Philippines?? Hell Yes!! because it's a great place to hang out, big malls, nice bars, funny people. But the Island is not so beautiful to me, It looks like the biggest ghetto in city of chicago.
