I've never been to Northbridge, or "clubbing" before, but me and my fri8end were thinking of going there for new years eve, coz they are setting up stages with music and stuff like that?
Is Northbridge really scary/dangerous, and would you go there for new years eve? Would you recommend 2 18 year old girls to?

I'm talking about the Northbridge in Western Australia, if by chance there is some other one.

My son lives in Australia with his wife; They both have dual citizenship (US/Australia) and have separated (to be divorced). She is about to inherit $$ from the US.

1) Is that considered community property in Australia? (EG would my son be entitled to any part of this inheritance?)

2) Could his wife fly to the US, collect her inheritance under California law (which is her sole and separate property), then fly back to Australia, get divorced, and keep the inheritance as sole property?

3) her brother is the executor of their parents estate in the U.S. could he and her stall the collection of her inheritance until after her divorce as a device of keeping it all to herself?

Hi,

I'm moving to Australia in January from the United States. Can I use my TV if I plug it into a converter? I do not plan to get cable or satellite. I would simply use the TV for watching DVDs and letting the kids play their games.

Thanks.

My husband and I are moving to Perth in January. We'd like to enroll our boys (ages 8 & 6) in a Catholic primary school. We'd appreciate any recommendations. We are hoping to live in South Perth or the inner southern suburbs. Thanks.

I am travelling to Perth for business. I will be finishing mid afternoon Friday, and will be flying out on Monday afternoon. I will have a car. I thought that a visit to the South West would be a good idea. What are the must see sights? Is it feasible to get to Denmark/Albany with time left over for sightseeing? I like scenery, plants and critters and am a keen photographer, particularly of bird life.
